Through Prayer We Can Revive and Resurrect Our Movement

“Poverty-stricken as the church is today in many things, she is the most stricken here, in the place of prayer. We have many organizers, but few agonizers; many players and payers, few prayers; many singers, few clingers; lots of pastors, few wrestlers; many fears, few tears; much fashion, little passion; many interferers, few intercessors; many writers, but few fighters. Failing here, we fail everywhere.”
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version (KJV)
After Jesus ascended to Heaven, the disciples returned to the upper room and continued in daily prayer, in one accord, and in one place. Then, at the appointed time, the Holy Spirit burst onto the scene with the sound of a mighty rushing wind. Peter and the others received God’s long-awaited promise of the Holy Spirit’s anointing. Acts 2:17-19 repeats the prophecy of Joel, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of my spirit on all flesh.…And on my menservants and on my maidservants I will pour out my spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.…I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath.”
Father Moon’s death has been a devastating blow to our movement along with Satan’s virulent attacks on our church. He has succeeded to divide, destroy and disunite the True Family and our members, leaders, brothers and sisters, bankrupt our church and devastate and disenfranchise the second generation. As we are trying now desperately to pick up the pieces from this black “tornado” where do we get the power and healing that will sustain us to once again witness, and unite with Mother Moon’s clear directions for 2020?
Rick Joswick family
Two years ago, in 2011, after burying my father in Los Angeles, I was welcomed into the Pasadena house where I stayed to recover from his death. Every day I would see a couple of lone figures praying together
outside on this holy ground and decided to join them. Rick Joswick, the founder of this small group, had been praying and meditating for the revival and unity of our movement for several years, yet at that time everyone seemed too busy to join the group. As I and others there started participating in this group of prayer and singing, somewhat reminiscent of Oakland, I began to resurrect my own spirit and body and miracles started to happen around us.
Flash forward two years later, and after an inspiring Skype prayer call with Ricky and my sister Betsy Orman, we decided we should start a prayer conference call daily that would give all members throughout the world an opportunity to pray together for the Revival and Pentecost of our church and for unity and healing of our members and the True Children.
We were determined to do something completely positive because we were so sick of all the poison and negative comments online. We are now almost six months in the making, and if you have free phone calling to America you can join our free conference call every day. Through this call, and our unity around the world, our members are being strengthened to go out and witness again and to have hope and a vision for the future. We are determined to bring together thousands of our members for continuous prayer, united as one family to bring revival to our movement, unite with Mother’s direction and bring an end to the divisiveness and negativity that still pervades on internet and in the hearts of our members and the True Children.
Bonnie Brae House is the start of the Azusa revival in Los Angeles.
Ricky’s vision of revival was received after several prayers at the home of the Bonnie Brae house, the start of the Azuza revival in Los Angeles. This was the spiritual birthplace of the now 600 million Pentecostals throughout the world.
We too are hoping for a revival in our own movement, and through calling for united prayer, together at the same time, around the world, we hope to accomplish that as well. Just through the small group that has been praying together over the phone, many miracles have happened and we can see the Holy Spirit helping us to accomplish this revival of our movement. Oni Durst, the most successful witnesser in the history of our movement, believes it is the result of continuous united prayer that brought her great success.
Our prayer times are 6:30 a.m. (West Coast), 9:30 a.m. (East Coast) and 3:30 p.m. (French time). Our website is “Prayer for Revival” on Facebook and members may send us a message if you would like to join us a through Facebook at www.facebook.com/groups/318777021578675/?fref=ts.
Even if you can get on even one day a week, it will truly inspire you to hear prayers, readings, and testimonies about how God is working to help us to accomplish 2020. If you can’t call to America, I would advise you to do the same as we are doing, with even a couple of people online via skype or local conferencing, as even two people praying together is so powerful.

Pray often touches limitless spiritual power. You must become a person who lives by this power.
We believe the power of united prayer together can change our movement inside and out, and welcome those who feel the same.
