UPF Denmark celebrates the Dedication of Cheon Won Gung in Copenhagen

In the Peace Center in Copenhagen from 2 to 5 p.m., Religious leaders, Ambassadors for Peace, and FFWPU members participated, a total of 20 persons.

After the invocation, Nobu Igarashi explained that the celebration commemorated True Mother’s 80th birthday, Heavenly Parents Day, and True Parents Day. Everybody sang two Danish hymns before Karsten Nielsen explained Heavenly Parents longing heart to see Humanity united as one global family, mentioning Father and Mother Moon’s message: “Humanity’s challenges cannot be solved by human effort alone. God is the true owner of the universe, our creator and heavenly parent; therefore, as a parent, God cannot passively watch his children suffer.” He briefly explained the advent of True Parents, the Peace Summit 2023, and new Korean expressions, such as Cheon Il Guk, Cheon Won Gung, and Cheon Il Sanctum.

After that, we watched 45 minutes video of True Mother opening Cheon Won Gung, including the interfaith water ceremony. All participants were deeply moved by True Mother’s sincere and humble prayer in making this offering for all Humanity.

Our sister, Liz Bramsen, sang two beautiful gospel songs before we shared cakes and fruits from the offering table. Everybody felt a real sense of family togetherness, and the guests expressed gratitude for participating in this momentous occasion.

Before, most members celebrated our holy days, but according to Dr. Michael Balcolm’s suggestion, we invited close contacts and Ambassadors for Peace. It was a good experience and a way to educate our communications.
