Our trinity's Neighborhood "Cinco de Mayo" Fiesta in Las Vegas

Our Trinity along with the Igarashi’s neighbors, Young and Lucky, ended up having a very nice event at the parking lot of the Igarashi’s. We are grateful Rev. and Mrs. Doo came to support us. We handed out flyers a few days ago and worked hard all day preparing, not knowing if anyone would show up. We took a chance and even were a little nervous. We must give the glory to God because as the hours grew more and more families came. The children loved the Piñata.

Mrs. Igarashi gave a short talk on the meaning of Cinco de Mayo. However, the key point was recognizing Mother’s Day. She gave a talk on a Mothers heart and pointed out universal traits of true love being unselfish, unconditional and sacrificial. The talk concluded by sharing how regardless of race or religion, this universal Parental Love, originates from=”GOD”. Mother’s Day gifts were given, potluck food was shared, song and Mexican hat dance performance, karaoke, etc. The event ended with a closing prayer by holding hands.
