Testimony: Hyo Jin Nim's love for a stranger, me.

I was lucky enough to witness this amazing moment. During the 32-city speaking tour [in Des Moines Iowa on March 19 or 20, 1974] we were going door-to-door for the speech. On the day of the speech or before I was assigned to be Father’s security guard. When this happened, we all stepped outside and welcomed them, clapping for their arrival.

Before their arrival I was watching Hyo Jin Nim playing basketball in the driveway.

Before he went back inside, he gave something to the other security guard. But this is how interpreted his following action: He felt bad that he didn’t give me anything. So he took a little football helmet out of his pocket and gave it to me. I felt that he didn’t want me to feel left out. He tried to care about everyone equally. So here it is. I still have it 46 years later.
