My Mother Is My Inspiration

Mother has faced many difficulties and much persecution. True Mother’s position is the most important position next to True Father’s. Without Mother there is no bearing of the seed of True Father. This position is indescribably important demanding great personal sacrifice, loyalty and perseverance as well as the ability to cope with the tremendous difficulties of the dispensation itself. People’s selfish concepts often brought suffering and scars to Mother but she overcame these things and forgave. She bore fourteen children. Two are in spirit world. Twelve exist in the physical world. Although her life during the period of giving birth to the True Children demanded tremendous personal sacrifice, she overcame by her trust in her own faith and her trust in Father. Her trust always enabled her to know God’s will.

She gave birth to all of us. I can feel the value of my brothers and sisters. Without her there are no True Parents for me or humanity. No matter how I relate to her as my own mother or as the mother of humanity, I only see her as pure. She is caring. She inherited Father’s standard. And when it is needed she can be a pillar that we can hold on to, so we don’t sway in our life of faith.

More and more I can understand her value. She never forces me to do anything but believes I have within me the ability to understand what I should do. She has always emphasized this ability to me. She was always there when I felt discouraged or had lack of faith. When I was fatigued, she nourished me as any normal mother would, but she understood the scope of my mission and never doubted for a moment that I would become all that I should become and accomplish all that I should accomplish. I am truly grateful to her. She is my inspiration. She is my solace. She is my love.

Knowing the Principle, I understand that the mother and son relationship is the most important in uniting the family. I am absolutely united with Mother and she is absolutely united with Father. I will always attend her the best that I can so that the spirit of True Father can always be with us.
