FFWPU Korea Announcement on December 3, 2024, Declaration Of Martial Law

Unfortunately, as of 11:00 PM on December 3, 2024, martial law has been declared in the homeland cherished by our Heavenly Parent, the Republic of Korea. We understand that this sudden declaration has caused great shock and concern among our members.

Korea is now facing a critical situation under martial law, with extreme uncertainty ahead. As you know, the nation has been deeply divided into two opposing factions, leading to intense internal conflict and chaos. Our True Parents have consistently emphasized that the only way to resolve such conflicts is through practicing true love centered on our Heavenly Parent.

True Parents have hoped that these teachings would reach all citizens of Korea, aiming to make the nation a homeland for our Heavenly Parent. Unfortunately, contrary to this aspiration, the extreme conflicts between progressives and conservatives have escalated, ultimately resulting in this martial law.

In facing this crisis, the Family Federation for Heavenly Korea deeply reflects on our responsibility for failing to educate the people as citizens of our Heavenly Parent. We humbly repent before Heaven for not rooting the culture of true love deeply within this nation and for failing to gather the people as Heavenly Parent’s children.

Beloved members,

Our Heavenly Parent will not overlook this nation, which serves True Parents and is home to Heavenly Parent’s children. Centered on True Father in Heaven, Heung Jin Nim, Hyo Jin Nim, Daemo Nim, and countless absolute good spirits will protect and restore this country.

Please demonstrate the faith of mature believers, allowing Heaven to work through you.

Just as Sodom and Gomorrah would have been spared if there had been righteous people, let us become the righteous ones of this era whom Heaven seeks. When true believers practice true love, Heaven will act, and this national crisis can be overcome.

It is crucial not to take sides, criticize, or follow divisive movements. This is not the behavior of true believers or righteous individuals whom Heaven desires. As True Parents have always taught, our Family Federation stands for neither the left nor the right but for Heavenly Parentism-a principle of true love, harmony, and unity.

Dear members, we earnestly ask for your sincere devotion to help Korea overcome this crisis. We pray for Heavenly Parent’s protection upon your families.
