FFWPU Korea: Hwang Bo-guk's - 13 District Reorg and CheonBo Family Seminars

Since his inauguration as the 20th President of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) in August, Hwang Bo-guk has implemented significant changes and shared a new vision for the organization.

Hwang has restructured the organization into 13 national districts and conducted special assemblies for CheonBo families. During these gatherings, he conveyed recent messages about Heavenly Parent’s providence, as emphasized by True Mother, and explained the vision for the newly established FFWPU of Heavenly Korea.

In his assembly speeches, President Hwang highlighted True Mother’s teaching: “The Cheon Il Sanctum is the main temple, local churches are branch temples, and blessed families become substantial temples.” He stressed the importance of aligning family values with Heaven’s will, stating, “We must set standards by aligning our lineage, possessions, and heart issues according to Heaven’s will so that Heavenly Parent can dwell in our families as substantial temples.”

Hwang compared churches to ‘warships’, urging them to “carry out God’s operations 24 hours a day and dedicate themselves to the nation and world.” He drew an interesting parallel between the new 13-district system and Admiral Yi Sun-sin’s famous 13 turtle ships, suggesting that these districts would be “13 powerful and influential warships that will protect God’s nation.”

The President also shared strategies for the successful opening of the Cheon Il Sanctum of Cheon Won Gung. He emphasized that “If we invest our sincerity and work to establish family churches that resonate with the heart of Heavenly Parent and True Parents, we will meet a day of jubilation and joy.”

A special feature of these assemblies was the presentation of merit plaques to individuals who had dedicated themselves to the successful opening of the Cheon Il Sanctum of Cheon Won Gung. President Hwang presented these awards on behalf of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind.

The special assembly tour began on September 1st at the Seoul Cheon Won Gung Cheonseung Church and continued through various districts until November 3rd, covering major regions across Korea including Gangwon, Gyeonggi, Gyeongsang, Chungcheong, Jeolla, and Jeju.
