First Activity Report Chinese People's Federation For World Peace for 2023

The Chinese People’s Federation for World Peace (CPFWP) held its first report meeting for this year on 25 February at its Korean headquarters in Seoul.

Rev. Han Yong-nam presided over the event, which featured a ceremonial performance by the Multicultural Peace Arts Troupe, a welcome speech by Sui Li Jing, President of the Korean Branch of the Chinese People’s Federation for World Peace, an activity report by International President Hwang Yup-ju, and congratulatory remarks by Dr. Park No-hee, Mr. Baek Seok-du, Incheon City Council President Elder Heo Yang, and Professor Gil Young-hwan.

World President Hwang Yup-ju reported on their activities, stating that it was founded in 2019 with the blessing of True Parents to create a peaceful community of Chinese people worldwide. Since its establishment, the Federation has focused on activities such as the Prayer for the Release of the Victims of the Chinese People’s Volunteer Army in Cheorwon, the Chinese Compatriot Community Movement, and the promotion of filial piety culture through overseas filial piety contests.

The Chinese People’s Federation for World Peace was formed on was established on 22 November 2019 at its inaugural general assembly, the CPFWP Chinese World Assembly held at the Taipei Marriott Hotel in Taipei, Taiwan. The event brought together over 300 leaders from various fields, including UPF co- founder Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, President Zhang Jingyu, Chinese People’s Federation for World Peace President Hwang Yup-ju, and Taiwanese Deputy Auditor General Zhang Mou-ya.

Today, the Federation operates in 12 cities across 10 countries, including Korea, the United Kingdom, the United States (New York and San Francisco), and Canada (Vancouver and Toronto).
