Where there is division, Satan is present - Wherever there is peace, God is there

I would like to sincerely welcome everyone who is participating in today’s Peace Festival, despite their busy schedules and being between activities and responsibilities. Mr. Hyung-soo Kim, chairman of the Guri City Council, Ms. Kyung-ae Yang, a Guri City Council member, and Ms. Kyung-ja Min former parliamentarian have joined us today. Today, we also have the Korean Christian Leadership Council (KCLC) pastors here with us. Many people are also attending this event online through the Peacelink platform.

I would like to sincerely welcome Family Federation members, peace ambassadors, invited leaders, and all peace-loving citizens. At this time, I would particularly like to welcome the founder of this foundation, the Mother of Peace, True Mother, Han Hak Ja Moon, who is with us. Let us send her a big round of applause with gratitude and praise.

The world is facing a lot of difficulties due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The corona pandemic is changing the common sense of human security. It has now been confirmed that a selfish way of life can no longer guarantee the future. We must all exercise a sense of community to create a world where we can live together, prosper together, and enjoy happiness together. To that end, finding peace is something worth doing. Humanity has always longed for a world of peace. But that world is still far away. Then, how will a world of peace be realized? The world of peace will be achieved when order between God, man and nature is maintained and they harmonize with one another.

The peace festival we have prepared today is a festival to celebrate and establish that we are all brothers and sisters under one parent, with God the Creator as the parent of humanity. This event aims to break down the walls of religion, race, culture, and ideology and, with true love, unite to create a world of peace.

Where there is division, Satan will always be present. But wherever there is peace, God is there. Matthew 5:9 says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” Rev. Sun Myung Moon dedicated his entire life and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon has dedicated her entire life as well to creating a peaceful world. As models for a world of peace, they presented the vision of one great human family under God and have pursued numerous peace projects with their indomitable spirit. Thanks to both of them, peace or the dream and aspiration of peace has touched every part of the planet. Even now, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, the True Mother, has been working hard to create a world of peace, which has required her recently to travel several times around the Earth. I hope that today’s Peace Festival will serve as an opportunity for you to join the ranks of those who are creating a new history in a new era. I pray that Heavenly Parent’s grace is with you and your family. Thank you.
