Glorious ascension, Rick Hunter!

Beloved husband and father Rick Hunter unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday evening, January 16, 2018. During the last two weeks, Rick had been fighting a particularly bad cold and flu. He collapsed at home and was rushed by ambulance, a second time in 8 days, to Baltimore Washington Hospital Center in Glen Burnie, MD, where he succumbed, despite attempts to revive him.

Rick is a Navy veteran. He joined the Unification Church in 1968 and was Blessed to Betsy Drapcho in the 1800 Couples Blessing in Seoul, Korea, in 1975. He is survived by his wife Betsy, his son David, daughter-in-law Mitsuru, and grandchildren David and Annalise.

Details regarding services will be announced as they are finalized. The Hunter family truly appreciates your thoughts and prayers, and, for tonight, kindly asks for prayers from your homes, that Rick can experience a peaceful transition.

Thursday evening, January 18, we look forward to a prayer and testimonial vigil at the home of Dan and Susan Fefferman from 7 to 9 p.m. If you are unable to attend in person, please join in praying from wherever you are in the community and around the world.
