RE: 2-Day DIVINE PRINCIPLE Workshop for Blessed Children and their Guests (High School Seniors and Older) - May 4-6, 2007
The Education Department of FFWPU-USA is organizing a 2-Day Youth Workshop for members of the Second Generation and their guests on May 4-6, 2007. The purpose of the workshop is to provide Blessed Children with the opportunity to reach out to their peers by sharing their faith in a spiritually uplifting environment.
Our Second Generation youth are the future of the Unification Movement, and the time is ripe for Blessed Children to stand on the foundation established by the First Generation, advancing God’s providence by reaching out to their peers. Thus, the workshop will be supervised by members of the First Generation, but coordinated and run by elder members of the Second Generation.
The seminar will be conducted in the traditional 2-day workshop fashion. Presentations will include: An Introduction to the Principle, God’s Ideal for the Family (Principle of Creation), The Origin of Family Breakdown (The Fall), The Mission of Jesus and the Purpose of the Second Coming, the Principles of Restoration and the Parallels of History. This will provide an opportunity for our youth to inherit the tradition of the 2-day workshop established by the First Generation in the 1970s and 1980s.
The workshop will be held at Sandy Hill Camp in North East, Maryland between Friday, May 4th and Sunday May 6th, 2007. The fee is $120. The workshop is open to any member of the Second Generation who is a high school senior or older, and their guests (of the same age). While the workshop is designed as a tool for Blessed Children to reach out to their peers, participants are NOT required to bring a guest in order to attend.
