The rally had the theme “One Heart, One Peace Rally for Religious Freedom and Peace”. It was attended by about 2,000 persons
Hello to all our members around the world who are once again offering your sincere devotion today. The
weather has suddenly turned quite chilly. Despite the cold, many of our “brothers and sisters” are still offering devotion in front of the detention center. Shall we all give them a big round of applause filled with encouragement and gratitude? […]
Since True Mother is spending the weekend alone, the days must feel even longer for her, and we find ourselves waiting all the more eagerly for Monday, when we can hear news about her.
Today, I’d like to share the report from the visit to True Mother.
As soon as the previous visitors finished their meeting, we were allowed into the visiting room right away. True Mother came in at the same time, waving her hand and smiling warmly in greeting. She was wearing a sky-blue top made of a thicker fabric than the one she used to wear before, which was such a relief in this cold weather.
Without any waiting time, the visit began immediately. The first thing True Mother said was, “Who has come today? Moon Shin- chul replied, “Today it’s Moon Hoon-sook, Moon Shin-chul, Moon Moon Shin-chul, here in October Shin-heung, Kim Eun-sang, and Kim Jin-chul.” 2025 in Gapyeong, South Korea True Mother immediately asked, “What has Eun-sang been doing?”
Kim Eun-sang, Director of the central administration, greeted her respectfully,
“True Mother, how was your weekend? How is your health? How have you been spending your time?”
True Mother smiled and said softly,
“How could my weekend be well here? As for my health, I must take care of myself.”
Then again, she asked, “So what has Eun-sang been doing?”
Director Kim responded again,
“True Mother, have you been eating well and getting some exercise? We’ve been so worried about your health.”

The rally had the theme “One Heart, One Peace Rally for Religious Freedom and Peace”. It was attended by about 2,000 persons
But True Mother said,
“There’s nothing for you to worry about. Once you experience this place, you’ll understand. The best way is to wait.”
Then, again, she asked, “What has Eun-sang been doing?”
Moon Shin-chul then said,
“In Seoul, our young people held a rally like the ‘NABI’ [Next-Generation Alliance of Belief and Intercession] events in Japan - 2,000 youth gathered in Gwanghwamun [a central square in Seoul], shouting, ‘The Unification Church is a happy place!’ as they marched for religious freedom and peace.”
Hearing this, True Mother said,
“You are the hope of the future - not only for this nation but for the entire world. Go forward for the sake of justice and truth.”
Moon Shin-chul continued,
“Last Friday, five KCLC [Korean Clergy Leadership Conference] leaders came and joined us in the late- night devotional prayer. They were deeply moved by the sincere worship of our “Pure Waters” [group of volunteers] youth, and they testified that they hoped Christian youth, too, could experience such revival.”
True Mother responded, “Yes, the KCLC pastors are doing well.”
Moon Shin-chul added,
“Last week, Pastor Mark Burns visited the detention center. Though the media mistakenly reported he came to meet the President, the truth will be revealed in time.”
Director Kim then shared,
“Prophet Radebe is arriving in Korea today, and tomorrow he hopes to greet you personally during visiting hours.”
True Mother said, “That’s good - please take well care of him.”
Director Kim then said, “True Mother, the Director and I are thinking of moving closer to be near you.”
True Mother replied,
“Why move here? You have so much to do. I told you to focus on education. The people of this nation must know that Korea is a chosen Mark Burns, American evangelical minister, people accompanied by Heaven. Being chosen televangelist and politician who is the pastor of the means having responsibility. We must become a Harvest Praise and Worship Center, South nation that fulfills its responsibility and not Carolina. here, outside Seoul Detention Center repeat the mistakes of Judea. That’s why October 30, 2025 education is so important.”
[…] Lastly, I told True Mother,
“On the final day of the Great Works, a flock of egrets came to the training center - a sign that Heaven is with us, shown through nature.”
True Mother said, “Yes, that is very good news.”
When about thirty seconds remained, Director Kim once more said,
“True Mother, please try to get some exercise.”
True Mother replied, “Walking isn’t as easy as it sounds.” She continued to speak, but as the visit time ended, we could only see her lips moving.
As she left in her wheelchair, we noticed gratefully that she was wearing white sneakers instead of rubber shoes - apparently provided by the detention center as the weather grew colder.
Dear members around the world, True Mother, who spent the weekend in longing and love for all her children, continues, as she has for over 80 years, to endure and wait patiently, like a pure lotus blooming from muddy water, hoping that we fulfill our responsibilities.
The Christian Martyrs’ Last Prayer, painting by Jean-Leon Gerome (1824-1904)
Two thousand years ago, because of the disbelief of the Jewish people, the disciples were scattered and Jesus was crucified. The early Christians suffered severe persecution and death, secretly worshipping in the underground catacombs. No one then could have imagined that after 300 years, Christianity would become a national religion and a global faith.
But Heaven did not abandon humanity. Because God was alive and working, even a persecuted faith like Christianity grew to become a world religion, and the Bible became the most-read book in the world.
Upon the foundation of Christianity, Heaven sent the True Parents to complete the providence - revealing the Creator’s purpose, the root of the Fall, the history of salvation, the essence of Jesus, and the mission of the Messiah - truths no religion had clarified before. In just 70 short years, the True Parents established a providential foundation greater than any other religion has achieved.
Every new truth and every chosen one in history has faced persecution. Though we are now passing through one of the most difficult times since our founding, because the living Heavenly Parent is with us, we firmly believe that under Heaven’s sovereignty, a world of peace will surely come.
To realize the Heavenly Parent’s dream - the dream of all humanity - we follow the True Parents, who have advanced Heaven’s providence with unwavering determination throughout their lives.
Through these trials and rejection by the world, may we more deeply understand and comfort the sorrowful heart of our Heavenly Parent, who has embraced humankind with tears of love for so long.
Through our nightly devotional prayers, may we gain new strength, purify our hearts, and through self- reflection and reorganization, become renewed individuals and communities fit for Heaven’s providence and daily victory.
Seeing the sincere devotion of our members, many people have been deeply moved by our faith community.
A few days ago, a friend whom I hadn’t heard from in over 15 years sent me a message, offering comfort and saying,
“You have many strong supporters, so I believe good news will come soon. I may not know much about your faith, but everyone I’ve met from the Unification Church has always been kind and admirable.”
If we on earth fulfill our responsibilities and roles, the spiritual world - the initiating world of Heaven - will surely support us. Let us go forward with absolute faith and sincerity, resembling True Mother, so that True Father […] and all the absolute good spirits can work through our lives.
Beloved members around the world, during the recent “Great Works” with over 120,000 participants, […] we also witnessed special natural signs: On the day before, a beautiful rainbow appeared; and on the final day, a flock of white egrets came to the training center.
In the Bible, the rainbow symbolizes God’s eternal covenant not to destroy the earth again, representing hope, faithfulness, and divine mercy - a sign of peace, new beginnings, and restoration after hardship. The white egret, pure and elegant, symbolizes integrity, purity, and Egrets in Gapyeong, South Korea on October 26, noble character - the virtue of the righteous. 2025 Thus, the egrets’ appearance represents True Mother’s purity, and the rainbow is a sign from Heaven - a symbol of hope responding to the worldwide devotion of our members.
Director Bae Chung-ki sent us a beautiful video of the egrets, which we have prepared for you to see. As you watch, may your hearts be filled with deep hope and feel the Heavenly Parent’s love through nature.

effectively allows Mother Han to be released for a limited period while her forma l Submit arrest order remains legally valid.
In South Korean law, a “stay of detention” does not overturn an arrest but pauses its enforcement. This measure is generally reserved for cases in which a detainee’s health condition or humanitarian circumstances make continued confinement inappropriate. Mother Han’s lawyers filed such a petition on l5’ November, arguing that t he 82-year-old relig ious leader requi red urgent medical care. The court accepted the request, ordering her temporarY release until 7 t h November.
Mother Han’s legal situation has drawn significant public attention both within South Korea and abroad. Often referred to as ‘True Mother” by followers, she has led the Family Federation since t he death of its co-founder - and her late husband - Reverend Sun Myung Moon, in 2012. Under her leadership, the movement has maintained a large international network.
According to the Segye llbo, the current crim inal case involves allegations that she and senior Federation officials made illegal political donations to conservative lawmakers ahead of South Korea’s 2022 presidential election.
Mother Han’s defense team maintains her innocence, stating that she has been unfairly targeted, and that her health has deteriorated due to prolonged detention. She previously failed to appear for questioning by a special prosecutor investigating former First Lady Kim Keon-hee (~ :ct2.I). citing the need for heart surgery.
The court’s ruling marks a brief reprieve for Mother Han but does not signal the end of her legal troubles. Once the temporary stay expires, she could be requ ired to return to custody unless the court grants an extension or modifies her detention status further.
Dr. Michael Balcomb, President of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification in Europe and the Middle East, writes in a statement t o members 4 th November,
“You will have seen the welcome and breaking news that a Korean Court has ordered t he temporarY release of True Mother from her cell in the Seoul Detention Center, effective from l000CET today. Dr. Michael Balcomb, However, according to news reports here on 8th August 2025. and confirmation from the World Screenshot from video by Mission Department, this is li kely to FFWPU be just a 3-day release for urgent medical treatment and, unless t here is further court intervention, it will expire l000CET Friday and True Mother would have to return.
Furthermore, it seems that the hospital where she will receive treatment - one report mentions ophthalmology [the branch of m edici ne that specializes in the study, diagnosis, and treatment of d isorders of the eyes and visual system] - is located within the detention center campus.
Still, we are grateful that True Mother will at last receive proper medical attention. Let us pray for furt her positive developments.”
