Heartfelt greetings to all blessed families around the world who are offering their devotion day and night.

At 10:20 this morning, […] I visited True Mother at the detention center […].

When we entered the visiting room, we felt deeply sorry - Mother was already seated, waiting for us. Until the visit officially began, she sat with her eyes closed in silence, waiting. That time of waiting felt so long, so heavy with emotion, that it is hard to express in words how sorry and heartbroken we felt.

When the visit began, Mother spoke about what she needed. The detention center has a system for sending in food, but the list of items allowed is very limited. Even when we send food, it can never be enough, and for that we feel truly, truly sorry.

Mother said her health has declined, and that she has been taking a lot of Tylenol [medication used to treat mild to moderate pain and fever]. I told her that while that may help in the short term, taking it long-term could affect her liver.

When I asked what was most uncomfortable for her physically, she Hak Ja Han, Holy Mother Han, said the hardest thing was that the environment is very damp and here in Gapyeong, South Korea cold - her arms and legs ache, and her body feels sore. July 20, 2025 Even at the Cheon-jeong Temple, she used to sweat so much at night that she had to change clothes several times, so the humid conditions in the detention center are especially difficult for her.

Mother has had arrhythmia symptoms [See editor’s note 1 below] for about ten years and had been managing them well, but she recently underwent surgery.

At a time when she should be resting after surgery, she was sent to the detention center - returning her to the same condition as before the operation.

Even so, today her voice was strong and full of spirit, and we were deeply grateful. She has lived a life of endurance and patience, so she rarely expresses that she is in pain.

In the forty years I have known her, I do not think I have ever heard her say such words. I told her she must not hold everything inside and that she should express it when she feels pain - but she has lived such

a grateful and uncomplaining life that it has become second nature for her not to speak of suffering.

When I look back, True Mother’s life has been one of hardship since childhood. She once said, recalling the early days of founding the Little Angels arts troupe, that it was “a time when we even had to split beans to share.”

She endured war and poverty, and together with True Father, lived in harsh conditions in remote parts of South America and Africa. To fight against communism, she risked her safety giving nationwide university lectures.

Even in China, under threat, she bore witness to our Heavenly Parent. She traveled from nation to nation - sometimes visiting one country per day - giving over 180 addresses globally proclaiming True Father as the returning Messiah, often without even removing her shoes to rest. She gave birth to fourteen children, enduring four Cesarean sections - all with a single body.

She accompanied True Father every moment, keeping pace with his rigorous life and schedule - a life few young people could have endured.

After True Father’s Seonghwa (ascension), she alone proclaimed Foundation Day. For three years, she offered deep and earnest devotion to understand her “children”, restoring seven nations and seven major religions.

She raised up the younger generation and moved forward unceasingly for the realization of our Heavenly Parent’s dream.

Because her entire life has been one of endurance and perseverance, refined through hardship, even in the environment of the detention center she endures patiently, saying with faith that the truth will surely be revealed.

True Father always said that Heaven’s providence is a course in which Heaven is struck first, yet ultimately reclaims everything - a providence of loss and restoration. When Father entered Danbury, he did so with his eyes Mother Han on one of her daily visits to her on the victory that lay beyond it; likewise, True husband Father Moon’s grave between 2012 and Mother now moves forward, seeing the victory 2015 that awaits beyond the dark clouds.

The True Parents wish that rather than weeping, we act and move forward - asking what we can do for Heaven and the providence in this time.

In the end, the issue is not knowledge or status, but the sincerity that loves the environment Heaven has given and values the time entrusted to us.

Think of Yu Gwan-sun [See editor’s note 2 below]: she had nothing to boast of, yet when her nation could not be loyal, she was; when others could not be loyal, she still was - and thus she became a symbol of loyalty for her people.

Though I am inadequate, I sincerely hope that we can become “children” who, in this most difficult time, unite in absolute faith and become examples of loyalty.

Even though True Mother’s physical body is in the detention center, she is with us - with this nation, and with the world.

At the age of seventeen, she vowed that she would not leave the history of indemnity to future generations, and I pray that all of us can become True Parents’ hands and feet, working with renewed strength to help her fulfill that promise.

I earnestly pray that our Heavenly Parent will protect True Mother’s health and safety, and with that, I conclude my brief report.

[Editor’s note 1: Mother Han’s arrhythmia has been diagnosed as atrial fibrillation (AFib), which is the most common type of irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia). Normally, the heart’s electrical system makes the upper chambers (atria) contract in an organized way, pumping blood into the lower chambers (ventricles).

In atrial fibrillation, the electrical signals in the atria become rapid and chaotic, causing the atria to quiver instead of contracting effectively. One key feature of atrial fibrillation is an irregular and often rapid heartbeat. Patients may feel palpitations, fluttering, or pounding in the chest. The irregular heart Diagram of the human heart rhythm may cause an inefficient blood flow from the atria to the ventricles and an increased risk of blood clots forming in the atria, which can travel to the brain and cause a stroke.]

[Editor’s note 2: Yu Gwan-sun (유관순, 1902 - 1920) was a famous Korean independence activist during the period of Japanese colonial rule (1910 - 1945). She was born 16th December 1902, in Cheonan, Chungcheong Province, Korea. She died on 28th September 1920, at age 17, in Seodaemun Prison, Seoul.

Yu Gwan-sun was a high school student at Ewha Haktang (now Ewha Womens’ University) when the March 1st Independence Movement (삼일운동) broke out in 1919 - a nationwide, peaceful protest demanding Korea’s independence from Japan. She helped organize and lead demonstrations in her hometown of Cheonan. Even after many leaders were arrested, she continued to rally people, waving the Taegukgi (Korean flag) and shouting “대한독립 만세!” (“Long live Korean independence!”).

Yu was arrested by Japanese police, tortured, and imprisoned in Seodaemun Prison in Seoul. Despite harsh treatment, she continued to declare “Korea’s independence” from her cell. She died at just 17 years old, reportedly from injuries inflicted during torture.

Today she is one of Korea’s most revered national heroines - a symbol of courage, patriotism, and faith. Her story is taught in Korean schools, and March 1st (Samiljeol) is a national holiday commemorating the independence movement. She is often compared to figures like Joan of Arc, for her youth, conviction, and martyrdom for her country.]

And above all, I believe t h at True Mother, w ho is confined in that d ifficu lt and suffocating p lace, is drawing her st rengt h from t he /, sincerity and love of h er “sons and daughters” all over t he world . For t hat, I’m deeply g rateful once again.[…] Submit

As you know, during the ten minutes we’re allowed for v isitation, we want to talk as much as we can, listen t o her words, and if possible, even sing a song she loves- but the time always fee ls too short.

So before each visit, we go t h rough a c hecklist: what we need to p repa re for True Mother that day, w h at questions to ask, and so on. […]

After the Ch useok holiday, True Mother seemed somewhat troubled, perhaps because there were things she needed or matters she wanted to d iscuss. Sh e actua lly asked to see one of t he staff yesterday, but we couldn’t arrange it then. So today we decided to begin by listening carefu lly to w hatever she needed fi rst.

When we entered, True Mother was already there, sitting in her w heelc hair. I felt sorry that she h ad been waitin g. She sat w it h h er eyes c losed, looking very serious. Before the visit offic ially begins, we can’t speak to each other - no sound passes through - so we just sat looking at her quietly as she rested with her eyes closed.

Then, when the announcement came that t he visitation time had started, True Mother opened h er eyes, looked at us, and we offered ou r bows.

To be honest, I hadn’t shared Mother Han in detention cell in about her complexion yesterday, wheelchair. Illustratio n: Chat GPT but today, when I saw h er sitting 13t h October 2025 there w ith her eyes closed and t hat very serious expression, she looked so weary. Usua lly, she greets us so gently, always smi ling and serene. But today, sitting there alone like t hat, she looked exhausted. Those who were with me also com mented that she seemed deep in serious t hought.

The staff w ho care for her on the inside often tell us about her health. They say that when she closes her eyes for long periods, it’s usually because she’s extremely t ired and her eyes are fatigued. She hasn’t been sleeping well either, which worries us.

When I saw her last Frid ay after Chuseok, she was sweating heavily-so much that her h air was soaked as if she had j ust taken a shower. She kept wiping her face and neck with a towel, and because of that, her skin became irritated, w ith sma ll p imples and blem ishes breaking out on her norma lly beautifu l face. Sh e received ointment fo r it, and while the redness has subsided a bit, new spots have appeared, which makes us suspect t hat h er body’s infla m mation levels might be hig h.

We discussed making sure t hat if she ever feels discomfort or pain anywhere, she can receive a proper medical checkup. We don’t kn ow exactly how things will go, but since it’s a health matter, we agreed it’s important to keep raising it.

As many of you know, True Mother has symptoms of arrhythmia. Alt houg h she received treatment, it has recurred. Lately, I’ve noticed that w hen she breathes, her chest rises and falls more noticeably than before - as if b reathing itself takes more effort.

l::ven m 1ss1onary Sh1n-heung Moon noticed that her breathing rhythm isn’t steady- it varies between long and short breaths - which worries us Sh in-heung Moon 14th about whether her hea rt is under October 2025 in Gapyeong, strain. South Korea. Screenshot from live transmission by Earlier this year in the U.S., she FFWPU overexerted herself and was h osp italized, nearly developing pneumonia. At that time, the young Pure Waters [group of volunteers] wanted to see her, and even though she was unwell, she insisted on meeting them. But those around her earnestly asked her to rest for her health. So now, every time we see her, we try to pay close attention to how she’s doing.

Normally, True Mother always sits w ith perfect posture -straight- backed and dignified -whether she’s watching the news or a documentary. But today, she seemed unable to keep her back straight, sitting slightly hunched as if she lacked strength. It made me feel she was truly tired. I also noticed some strands of white hair showing - norma lly they grow in from the roots, but these looked more like scattered streaks of gray, which made me think she must be deeply preoccupied and stressed these days.

I’m sorry to share such worrying news w ith all of you from the start. But even in such physical hardship and difficult circumstances, True Mother continues to encourage us. She always says that the truth w ill be revealed, that Heaven will work, and that we must stay strong. She says she herself is enduring patiently and wait ing.

So, p lease don’t be discouraged o r angry when you hear this. Even in her suffering, she thinks of us and gives us strength. Let us also stay strong, and offer even more sincere prayers for True Mother. […]

And because she knows the hearts of all the members around the world who offer their devotion and love, she hopes we w ill all stay strong and united.

Then, noticing that True Mother’s posture seemed a bit slouched and she looked weak, we asked gently if her back was hurting. She replied that her back was fine, but w ith the weather getting colder, her shoulders and neck fe lt very chilly. She sa id she’s wearing thermal clothes but still feels the cold deeply.

Then, instead of complaining, she said, “Well, that’s j ust how the season is,” and began worrying about us instead. “Are you all doing well? Don’t catch a cold. Stay strong.”

I fe lt that these fina l words weren’t j ust for us there, but for all our beloved b lessed families and children around the world . She has often told us, “Stay healthy, so we can live together on th is earth for a long, long t ime,” and I want to pass that message on again today:

“Are you all well? Don’t catch a cold. Stay strong.”

[…] Just then, the time ran out, so we couldn’t say more.

That was how our ten-m inute visit went today. It may sound a bit scattered, but I wanted to share everything w ith you.

We’ll continue doing our best to share with you the conversations, impressions, and updates about True Mother’s hea lth tomorrow, the day after, and through Friday.

Please stay strong. We love you. Thank you.
