Get to know a new country by joining an exciting Service Project with young participants from many different countries!

From 1 – 10 August 2013, young people from different countries and different religious and cultural backgrounds will gather in the north-eastern city of Jõhvi for a 10 days Service Project. The local partner of UPF for this project will be the Lutheran Church in Jõhvi.

The program will include the following: 1. Presentations on various topics (culture of heart, friendship, team building, etc.) 2. Practical work with the church and the local community 3. Visiting religious and cultural sites, sports, etc. 4. And of course, you can build new and life-long friendships with people from other cultures and religions.

Anticipated number of participants: Approx. 20 Participation fee per person: €50.00 (This fee is a contribution towards transportation from Tallinn to and from the project site and back to Tallinn, towards accommodation, meals and outing program during the project period).

Age of participants: 18-30 years

If participants have special practical skills, these skills should be mentioned in the application. They might be useful for certain types of work. The same applies for special talents of participants, e.g. playing an instrument, etc. Religious Youth Service Project with Jõhvi Beds or mattresses will be provided, but each participant needs to bring either a sleeping bag or bed clothes.
