New Community System: Message from Highmy Her about Unified DMV

Hello DMV Unified Family!

I really loved Kaeleigh’s introduction to the youth program on Wednesday. It was so exciting and hopeful. So many people are expressing that kind of hopefulness and excitement in their sharing in morning devotion too.

I’m excited to work together with you to build our new community system, which is an intentional, loving, Holy community that offers—

1. community care, personal touch, no one gets left behind 2. direct representation, easier access to ministries and resources, 3. support team for personal growth and Tribal Messiahship

Take a minute to imagine what an ideal community would look like. Each community will be different, uniquely reflecting the Principle and True Love of our Heavenly Parent. Our pastor team is committed to developing a community system that will support each group’s vision.

I would like to introduce to you our current list of Community Leaders. I am so grateful to all of them for choosing to work together on this important endeavor. Please support them and have patience as many of these groups are very new. And remember, the value and success of the group is determined by your investment as well. If you take responsibility for loving the group as if you are the leader, then you will experience God working in your group.

34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

The groups are set up by location • You are not locked into the group of your location. If you would like to be part of a different group then please just communicate with the

leaders involved and let me know as a few groups are already very large.

• Some locations do not have a group leader yet. If your area is not covered, would you prayerfully consider taking the lead in loving your local community?

• The groups are starting to create their own group meet-up. Your leader will let you know. If your group is not doing a meet-up yet you are welcomed to join me on Sunday at 12:15. The link will be in the Sunday bulletin. We will focus on personal growth and testimonies.
