I am so grateful to serve you at this hopeful time. As part of our commitment to community care we are in the process of setting up the first stage of a community leaders system. You will be hearing more about this soon. It is our desire to utilize the community system to give a personal touch to every family member and strengthen each community to use their strengths, talents and dreams to be fruitful, multiply and have dominion and ultimately support the goal of 1000 Holy Communities.

In this email you will find a link to a survey. The purpose of the survey is to find out how you are doing, how we can serve you and what are your passions. The information will be passed on to community leaders so that they can discuss and work closely with you to help you get involved in whatever area brings you joy. The pastoral team will work closely with community leaders to help you be successful there.

Additionally, in order to help groups build a sense of community we have asked community leaders to start their own meet-ups. Therefore, this Sunday there will be no NOVA or New Hope Family Church meet-up. Please look out for a message from your community leader.

We are also still looking for more volunteers to be community leaders for certain areas of Maryland that have not been covered fully. Please pray about this and call me if you’d like to discuss this and find out more.

Heavenly Parent’s Holy Community DMV Survey Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Over the last month we’ve received a good amount of positive feedback about the unified community. A term we keep hearing from Dr. Yong and from our feedback is Personal Touch. Our goal is to create a community where there is 100% participation because everyone wants to participate and feels their efforts are bearing fruit. Our desire is for every person to feel like they are a valued member of the community. We want to strengthen and serve our local communities, create a strong BFM and a clear structure for welcoming and raising up guests, and open opportunities for 2nd and 3rd gen to participate and inherit.

We want to make it easy for everyone to connect to the area where they want to participate. Please use this survey to show us where your heart to serve lies so that we can start to connect people to create focus groups that can pray for that area specifically and work on practical outcomes. You may be interested in more than one or be willing to offer your time in something as a secondary focus. Next to any item you are passionate about, put a 1.
