Dear Friends and Supporters,

We are pleased to share an opportunity for our UK and

international supporters to connect with and support one of IRFF

UK’s partner initiatives in South Africa — the Walmer Angel

On Saturday, 7 February, the Walmer Angel Project will host a

community fundraising music event in Walmer Township, Nelson

Mandela Bay, a recognised hunger hotspot. The event raises vital

funds for the project’s soup kitchen, which provides regular,

nourishing meals to vulnerable individuals and families.

While the event will take place in person, supporters around the

world are warmly invited to watch live online and take part by

Event Details (For Local Supporters)

📅 Date: Saturday, 7 February

⏰ Time: 15:30 – 17:00 (South African time)

📍 Venue: Isithatha Theatre, Walmer

🎟 Tickets: R80 + a food donation

Food donations for attendees may include items such as mielie meal,

rice, cooking oil, canned foods, bread, sugar, tea, salt, vegetables,

margarine and mixed fruit jam.

Whether you are watching from the UK, Europe or elsewhere in the

world, your support helps ensure that the Walmer Angel Project

can continue serving warm meals where they are needed most.
