Could You Help the World From Home? Do you have the creativity, skills, or talents that could help hundreds - or even thousands - of people, all from your own home?

Do you have a few free hours each week?

What if one afternoon of your time could impact someone in Africa?

Would you like to enhance your CV with experience in humanitarian efforts and outreach?

If any of these questions speak to you, read on!

IRFF UK (International Relief Friendship Foundation UK) - a small but dedicated team of people based in the UK and Japan. Founded nearly 50 years ago by True Parents, IRFF is the international relief arm of the Unification Movement.

We embrace the principle of “living for the sake of others” to provide humanitarian relief to those suffering from poverty, illness, natural disasters, and conflict in Africa.

Our UK branch currently supports 10 projects across five African countries, focusing on sustainable development and personal empowerment. Our work is improving the lives of more than 3,800 people across the continent, and includes:

· Providing funding for foster families to give street children safe homes in DR Congo.

· Funding a borehole at Busabala School in Uganda to provide clean water.

· Supporting vocational education and training for young people in Ghana.

· Expanding our flagship project, Destiny School, in Uganda which currently delivers high- quality education to 206 children, with the goal of reaching 400 students.

· Teaching literacy skills to around 70 children in South Africa through SHINE literacy classes, helping them discover the joy of reading for the first time.

· Providing period poverty education and supplies for girls in Ghana, South Africa, and Uganda through the IRFF GirlChild, Walmer Angels, and WAIT projects, significantly reducing school dropout rates and teenage pregnancies.

Menstruation Should Not Be An Obstacle In Life

As a charity for Africa, IRFF UK holds a strong promise to help underprivileged African girls facing challenges, especially period poverty, which makes it hard for them to go to school. We are dedicated to breaking down these barriers by making sure these girls have what they need for their periods. By doing this, we empower these young minds, giving them the chance to stay in school, learn, and break free from the cycle of poverty.
