European Summer Workshops 2021 Update and Registration Dear brothers and sisters, We would like to inform you about the developments of our upcoming summer workshops in response to the COVID-19 and announced plan of European authorities to open borders and allow international travel in the summer season. We successfully held two large summer workshops in 2020, carefully and successfully complying with the COVID-19 health and safety regulations throughout the programmes. We are confident to responsibly organize and lead workshops this upcoming summer, too. We are planning to go ahead with two of the European summer workshops and we are opening registrations.

Senior HARP workshop is scheduled to take place 10th – 18th August 2021 in Seminarhaus Neumuehle, Bad Camberg, Germany ODP+ workshop is scheduled to take place 19th – 30th August 2021 in Seminarhaus Neumuehle, Bad Camberg, Germany

Unfortunately, the Junior HARP workshop will not take place this summer.

Below you can find the description of the registration steps and detailed information about both workshops. If you would like to attend a workshop please fill out the registration form as soon as possible. It is difficult to predict the demand in the current circumstances, so this will help us to see the expected number of participants and make preparations accordingly. Each year, we rely on a large team of volunteers to support each workshop, and we warmly welcome you to contribute and serve this summer too. If you want to apply as staff, please select the ‘staff application form’. The final staff arrangements will be partly determined by the size of the workshops and the number of staff applications, so we cannot confirm all applications or arrangements until we have a clearer picture.

We are aware of the financial impact that the ongoing pandemic has had on Blessed families and we are doing our best to minimise the participation costs. We have kept workshop fees the same as last summer, while still searching for sponsorship options. We would also encourage participants to look for sponsorship opportunities in their communities to support their travel and/or participation fee.

We plan to hold workshops near Bad Camberg (Germany) in the vicinity of Frankfurt airport. However, we have an alternative WS place in Slovakia near Bratislava as a back-up option; there are two airports in the vicinity – Vienna airport (Austria) and Bratislava airport (Slovakia).

Registration steps: 1. Register online at esgdmedia,org/registration/ - select the workshop you wish to apply for and fill out the relevant form. 2. You will receive an automatic reply to the email address provided by you on the registration form. You can check that your registration went through. Please check your email including the SPAM folder. 3. We will send you a confirmation email by 30 June with further information to the same address provided at the registration. We anticipate that international travel options will become clearer by then. Additionally, we expect the German national and local health authorities will provide clearer guidelines for youth camps by that date. 4. Please wait for the confirmation email before booking your travel! 5. We will post up-to-date information on the website by 1 July at the latest.

Special note: We are constantly monitoring the situation related to travel restrictions and safety regulations related to COVID-19. Based on the recent situation and announcements of European authorities, we have made the current plans. There are still details to be finalised and so we appreciate your flexibility and patience. We are, however, committed to running both Senior HARP WS and ODP+ WS and we are making preparations accordingly.

We are very excited to invite those of you who are in the elder HARP age-group, to this year’s European Senior workshop! As always, this is a precious opportunity in the year to reconnect with friends from all over Europe, to build new friendships and to gain strength and clarity about our shared identity and path as blessed children.

There will be relevant and relatable content to go deeper into what it means to live a daily life of faith, along with discussions and interactive activities. Through the mixture of challenging, reflective and team activities, we want to build an atmosphere where we create wonderful, lasting memories that remind us of our potential and our connection as brothers and sisters. There will also be a variety of education and testimonies given by elder Second Gen and educators to share lessons and perspectives that can strengthen our commitment in living our life as God’s representatives. Come and join us this summer to re-discover and strengthen your conviction towards the spiritual path.

ODP+ Workshop Date: 19th – 30th August 2021 Place: Neumuehle Seminarhaus, Bad Camberg, Germany Age group: 18 and older WS Directors: Julius Alexy, Patrick & Yebuny Hanna Workshop fee: 380 EUR

The ODP+ (Original Divine Personality+) workshop is a precious opportunity for those aged 18+ to go through some focused and stimulating spiritual training. The ODP+ workshop has developed year upon year, and has been consistently challenging, as well as rewarding and enjoyable. This summer we continue with a regular format of a 12-day workshop and provide once again, a very memorable experience.

Through the content, there is a chance to experience the essence of True Parent’s teachings, and the core aspects of Second Gen education from years of experience. Indeed, the importance of connecting personally to God, True Parents, and other key relationships in our lives is a strong emphasis throughout the programme. As well as the focused education, a lot of the atmosphere that makes this workshop comes from the energy and relationships that participants build in their teams, supported by team challenges, sports and activities. The education will encourage participants to explore their Original Divine Personality together.

This workshop is open to all 18+ who are looking to go deeper and who want to invest in creating an experience that will revitalise you and your spiritual life. Whether you are graduating high school, planning to take a gap-year, studying at university or working, this might be the right choice for you to make a positive change – with an experienced and dedicated staff team to provide personal support and care. The experience cannot be explained easily, but it will be worth the commitment if you are open to make the effort.

Please note that the workshop fulfils one of the educational qualifications (participation in extended education) to attend the Blessing. We are confident that this experience can make a substantial contribution towards preparation for the matching and blessing, and to provide both a detox and recharge for a fresh start.
