Invitation to the Central and Eastern Europe Second Generation Summer Workshop Glanow, Poland, August 14 – 21, 2020

Dear brothers and sisters,

As the situation in Europe and around the world is finally stabilizing, we are very pleased to confirm and once again announce the first-ever Central and Eastern European Summer HARP workshop in Glanow! With less than two months left until the event we’d like to share some important information with all those already registered and those who still aren’t sure about joining us:

First of all, the basics: Dates: August 14th-21st - one day earlier than originally intended! Participants’ age: 14-18 Workshop language: English WS fee: In case of 1 participant per family: 135 EUR/ 600 PLN In case of 2 participants per family: 125 EUR/ 560 PLN In case of 3 or more participants per family: 115 EUR/ 520 PLN

Second of all, we want to tell you a little bit more about the content discussed on the WS - our motto is “Ingredients for change” - and the ingredients we will be talking about are based on our Family Pledge. We will be discussing the topics included in this most succinct presentation of our community’s beliefs through lectures both on the foundations and the daily applications of these pledges in our lives. Family, promises and commitments, friendships and our relationship with the Heavenly Parent are just some of the topics we want to touch upon. Other than the lectures offered by auntie Martha Kral, uncle Christoph Kral, uncle Aram Karagezian and a couple of younger speakers from the staff team, we want to focus on engaging the participants in discussions, debates, challenges and various other activities to help them realize their individual truths and build a faith that will stay strong and authentic throughout their lives.

Another very important thing to consider is, of course, the ongoing pandemic. The situation is changing very dynamically, so we will keep everyone interested up to date if anything should change, but here is how the situation is looking right now:

• Travel: Poland has opened all the borders within the European Union for free travel for the citizens of the European Union (meaning no mandatory check-ups and no required quarantine or health certificates on entrance), but not all of the neighbouring countries did the same. At this point in time, it is especially difficult to come back to the Czech Republic (a negative Covid-19 test result or mandatory quarantine is required). This is an important factor to consider and we urge you to not be booking any travel arrangements until you are sure of your personal situation both for travelling to Poland and back to your home country.

• Additional health form and sanitary precautions: It is mandatory for everyone travelling by means of public transportation to be covering their mouth and nose so we urge everyone to bring a mask. Additionally, every participant is required to bring a signed form confirming that they have not experienced any symptoms of infectious diseases in the two weeks prior and neither have they been in contact with anyone experiencing those symptoms. We will be sending this form to all the applicants. Please take this point very seriously, because even though Glanów is quite a big space, it would be very difficult to keep a virus from spreading should somebody come infected.

And lastly - for everyone willing to come or support this project we warmly invite you to join us in a 21- day condition for the success of this workshop starting on July 24th - with the special situation we’re facing this summer we will really appreciate all the support we can get in building the foundation for the best experience with God and each other that we can create :)
