ESGD Spiritual Care and Spiritual Leadership Workshop in Slovakia, 3-5 May 2019

We invite you to participate in a weekend workshop on the theme of ‘Spiritual Care and Spiritual Leadership’. This workshop will include guidance and support for those seeking to provide care and leadership for other Blessed Children. It is in the tradition of HARP and Second Generation Leadership Trainings that have been held over the years. As it is a short workshop, we will focus on offering constructive and challenging content; alongside space to reflect and share with others who are seeking to develop their leadership capacity.

There are many aspects of leadership, but we will focus on the internal aspects of roles related to the education of Blessed Children. Presentations will be prepared by members of the ESGD team, Patrick and Yebuny Hanna, and Julius and Martin Alexy, who are also involved with the Second Gen Blessing Department. Collectively, there is a lot of experience over many years – and we want to share some concepts and experiences which we believe can be helpful to those who are seeking to go deeper in this area of responsibility. The workshop is also scheduled as a part of the DONE

Mission 1 programme, so those attending will be joining and contributing to the shared experience.

Who: This workshop is designed for Blessed children aged 19-25.

Date: 3 – 5 May 2019

Arrival: 3 May (Friday) by 18:30, the WS will start with dinner

Departure: 5 May (Sunday) after 14:00, the WS will finish with lunch

Place: Luzna seminar center. Address: Kvetoslavovska 5/358, Dunajska Luzna 90042, Slovakia

WS fee: 105 EUR

Please register online by 25th April 2019 (at the latest).

There is a limit of participants we can take, therefore apply early. Please wait for confirmation before arranging travel.

Participants need to bring a sleeping bag. We recommend bringing house shoes, sports shoes and clothing.

How to get to the venue

Local transport: Please plan your trip to Dunajska Luzna. There is regular connection from Bratislava Main train station (Hlavna stanica) by the train and Bratislava Central bus station (at Mlynske Nivy) to Dunajska Luzna (check the location of the centre in google maps).

One way ticket cost about €1.50. You can find schedules for your travel online at www,cp.sk (select English in the bottom right corner).

Note that Vienna airport is also very close, there is a regular bus connection and it only takes about 60 minutes to come to Bratislava Central bus station.
