We warmly invite you to take part in the Cranes Club Europe Kick-Off, which will take place in the Hilton Hotel am Stadtpark, Vienna on May 10th, (approx.) 15:00 – 18:00.
The Cranes Club was initiated in Las Vegas in December last year as a network of young professional Unificationists, with the purpose of contributing their various expertises to the Unification Movement in the facilitation of building Cheon Il Guk. It is not necessary or possible for all of us to work directly for FFWPU or other affiliated providential organisations. God’s providence is much broader than this, and True Parents’ hopes are for us to find our own unique way to offer something to the world. The idea of the Cranes Club therefore is to create a space for 2nd Generation from all fields to contribute in a way they feel most happy and able to do so. How exactly the Cranes Club will become such a network is still open for discussion and can be shaped by its members.
A unique feature of the Cranes Club Europe Kick-Off will include a meeting with True Mother, where she will address the 2nd Generation of Europe to share her heart and provide us with a guiding vision for the future we are creating. This will also be a precious opportunity to share our experiences, reflections and visions with True Mother.
This event is a part of True Mother’s visit to Europe. We hope that many of you are considering attending True Mother’s visit in Vienna on May 10th, taking time off work and other commitments. It is a lot of investment for a weekend visit, but we hope that the opportunity to attend this additional event – to connect to True Mother and brothers and sisters, will be an extra incentive to make the journey.
As well as this personal meeting with True Mother, the Cranes Club Kick-Off will allocate time for networking, to discuss the function of the Cranes Club in Europe and will form working groups according to professions or interests, which will serve as a system for communication and development beyond this initial meeting.
As a kick-off event, there is no obligation for longer term commitment or participation in the development of the Cranes Club in Europe. It may be the chance to connect to others in similar fields and life situations, or a chance to support and mentor younger brothers and sisters with your experience and accomplishments. However, it might also provide the chance to give input and get involved with the development of such a network across Europe – as a way to create more value through the connections we share.
If you would like to attend, please register through the link below (required). The meeting is addressed to 2nd Generation & Jacob Children who are over 18 years of age and are working or studying. If you will not be able to attend, but still want your voice to be heard, please share your opinion with us via our online survey (below). We hope that you can consider attending. If you are able to come, we look forward to seeing you in Vienna and exploring how we can make a positive change in our movement and the wider world in which we live and work.
Yours Sincerely,
