First is the ESGD overview and plan for this year’s summer activities, and the announcement of the motto for 2013: L*L*L pure is beautiful Six major programmes for different age groups will provide plenty of opportunities for education, enjoyment and friendship-making for our young people in well-managed, international environments.

Helping our young people to prepare for Foundation Day, under the motto: ‘Divine Dragons’ - Building the Bridge to 2013, this set of activities and programmes is recorded in a beautiful, illustrated review with reports and testimonies. Dear blessed families! We are happy to inform you about the ESGD plans of activities for the summer 2013. In this letter you will find basic overview of activities and description of our motto. We are proud to present ESGD Summer 2013 under the motto:

L*L*L pure is beautiful

We look forward to summer 2013 – an opportunity to participate and take responsibility; to offer something for our European Blessed Families. This is the first summer after the passing of our True Father. This is also the first summer following Foundation Day. It is a significant time in history; for our world, our movement, and also for each of our personal lives.

Father gave us lots of essential guidance in the Cheon Il Guk era which should provide and education for all time; we have the opportunity to be the first students. We want to dive back into the teachings of True Parents in this time – and discover the textbooks of Cheon Il Guk. Love. Life. Lineage. These are three words at the heart of Fathers’ teachings, and how we understand them shapes our life course and spiritual journey. However, often we just hear the words and don’t understand the depths of what they really mean. How do we understand God’s perspective on Love, Life and Lineage?

‘Pure is Beautiful’ brings emphasis to a core message that we want to explore in new ways as a part of the Father’s core guidance on ‘Absolute Sexual Purity’. Father has created a tradition that does things right, and also opened up the way for all of us to find true happiness How do we return beauty back to God, True Parents, our Parents, and Brothers and sisters? In this time, beauty is so misunderstood, yet we want to become truly beautiful people who can reflect God’s divinity and our genuine true selves.

This is a time of transition, progress and building for the future. So it is key that we are deeply rooted in the teachings and traditions of True Parents, and an understanding of the Divine Principle. Upon that we can have a basis to support our families, communities, nations and continent of Europe. Through the summer activities, we want to come closer to understanding how we can make steps towards the ideal that God wants to experience with us at time in our lives.

JUNIOR HARP WORKSHOP As is now an established tradition, not what I have or don’t have it’s me the annual European Junior HARP that makes each day what it is. FOOTBALL WORKSHOP This year’s football WS was held from the 24st of July to the 1st of August. We did it in Chamarande (Paris) with only 14 participants. As always, our main schedule is football with 2 sessions of 2 hours training. Our program included also: the lectures and guidance from

3-3 after winning 3-1, we were quite disappointed. For the tournament, our first team finished 2nd and our 2nd team finished 5th. FC Sonic, our French team won the tournament. We finally ended the WS with the 2nd match that we could win 2-0. It was the best end possible for this WS.
