This summer, as usual, there will be opportunities for international 2nd Generation to participate in the 21 and 40 Day workshops in Cheong Pyeong training centre. All the key information is now online in the English Language section of (http://eng.cheongpyeong.org/), so please research there. This post is just informing you of 3 key opportunities: the dates for the 21 and 40 day International 2nd Gen Workshop, the info regarding the special ‘Coming of Age ceremony’ for 18 year olds, and opportunities for 18+ to staff on the International 2nd Gen Workshop. The website should aid you in your planning and research – regarding dates, ages, costs etc – all the relevant documents are available there for download (we have also sent an email around, so we hope you can be well informed in advance to make plans) But at a glance you can see the basic 21 day and 40 day workshop schedule for international 2nd Gen:
Attending a workshop in Cheong Pyeong is a big investment, as well as a potentially significant experience in our Unificationist life of faith – so we encourage you to consider going when the time is right. Each year we often have a sizeable group attending from the UK – so it is helpful to know who is planning to go. If you are, please send an email (youthministry@familyfireplace.org) – as it can help build a picture of where British Youth are over summer, and inform other parents who may be interested. Soon we will have all the Summer dates for key youth activities (regional national, European, and international) , so you gave have a full picture of all options for Youth in Summer 2011.
