Do you want to experience serving disadvantaged communities in Latin America?
It’s easy! And it can be FREE for you to participate in our next Global PeaceMakers project in Nicaragua and Honduras July 9-23, 2011. All you have to do is recruit 5 friends to join the program with you!
Don’t have 5 friends who are willing to join? You can still receive a discount for 1 or more recruits. For each friend that you recruit you will receive $100 off the program fee of $950 for the two-week program.
Here are the steps you need to take towards earning your free or discounted participation:
1. Apply for the program to participate. Complete application (Below) 2. Start recruiting!
If you recruit 5 or more friends to participate in the GPM Nicaragua & Honduras in July, you will win a full scholarship to attend the GPM--for FREE. All you have to do is ask them to provide your name as the person who referred them.

Place 2: Santana, Nicaragua (Managua)

1. Goal 2011
To improve the conditions of Paul Harris Elementary School in Santana, Nicaragua and to continue construction of the Nuevas Flores Community Health Clinic in Nuevas Flores, Honduras during the Bi-national Global PeaceMakers program, July 9-23, 2011 in Nicaragua and Honduras.
2. Objectives 2011
a) Continue construction of the Nuevas Flores Community Health Clinic in Nuevas Flores, Honduras through the addition of the building foundation, walls, and floors in July 17-23, 2011.
b) Improve the conditions of the Paul Harris Elementary School in Santana, Nicaragua, through the cleaning and painting of the school during July 9-16, 2011.
c) Improve the public spaces of both communities through the cleaning and renovating of gardens and recreational centers during July 9-23, 2011.
3. Activities 2011
a) Nuevas Flores Community Health Clinic, Honduras: Construct the foundation, walls and floors the building.
b) Paul Harris Elementary School, Santana, Nicaragua: Paint the interiors and exteriors of the school and renovate the classrooms, patios and gardens.
c) Both Schools: Clean and renovate the garden and recreational spaces.
4. Results 2011
a) Constructed building for the Nuevas Flores Community Health Clinic in Nuevas Flores, Tegucigalpa completed by local and international Service For Peace volunteers and assisted by
the local agencies.
b) Paul Harris School painted and renovated by local and international Service For Peace volunteers.
c) Both schools with gardens and recreational spaces renovated.
