FFWPU UK: Three Days for the Healing and Renewal of Our Nation

I am calling for our nation to offer 3 days of prayer and meditation, etc. Let us reach out to God with a feeling of repentance and renewal in light of the current global coronavirus pandemic crisis. I am sure many of us are already praying and making conditions, but a national focus is something I feel would be helpful.

3 Days for the Healing and Renewal of our Nation

This is a call to people of our nation of all faiths and none to unite in a 3-day period for the healing and renewal of our nation:

Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th April

The world…Europe…our nation is in crisis, where thousands of people are becoming sick and dying, and many more are expected to die in the days ahead. People’s livelihoods, businesses, homes and families are being affected by a crisis that, for now, we are unable to control. This virus doesn’t care if you are religious or not, a prince, a prime minister or an ordinary person – it is indiscriminate and can strike anybody.

Let us unite in one heart – one spirit – in a period of prayer, meditation, introspection and repentance for the renewal of our hearts and lives. Do as much or as little as you can manage.

Pray, meditate, reflect and repent at any time and for however long you want during these 3 days…and let us end with a candle in a window on the third day: Sunday 12th April at 9pm.
