Peter and Su-fang Kong replace the Germans as shepherds of our Welsh flock

After several years of leading the Wales community, on the 4th of September Ron and Catherine German stepped down as the community pastors and leaders to make way for a new, younger generation of leadership who are now ready to take the movement forward to its next level. Members expressed their gratitude to Ron and Catherine for their role which saw a period of stability and a warm spirit and a great welcome was given to Peter and Su-fang Kong as they stepped into their new role as Pastors and community leaders of this small but vibrant community.

There is a lot of hope and expectation in Peter and Su-fang as Peter, always known for his bright, enthusiastic energy supported by his strong and stable wife Su-fang, spurs the Wales movement forward with new, youthful vision. Prior to taking over Peter was already harnessing the energy of many of the youth as he started work on forming a youth council to work alongside and with the already established Wales members’ council.

Peter and Su-fang have a young son, Michael (Mikey) and together they always seem full of energy and drive. Peter runs his own Computer business aided by Su-fang so they have a lot of experience in dealing with people and organising affairs thus a lot of expectation falls upon their shoulders as they step into their new role in leading Wales forward. We want to wish them much success for the future.

The hand-over was a relatively simple and short affair coming at the end of their regular first and main Sunday service of the month.
