FFWPU Alabama USA: Official Grand Opening of Gather Family Church

On October 22, Rev. John Jackson, South Subregional Director, gave the official blessing for the grand opening of the Gather Family Church in Mobile, Alabama [Pastors Jario and Leena Gavin]. One year and a half ago, members helped to gut the newly purchased office building and helped turn it into a family- friendly space. Since then, the community of families has grown and continues to grow. The opening was a chance to officially thank all the volunteers and donors who helped make the vision a possibility. The space is used for day camp, baby showers, holy day celebrations, summer camps, birthday parties for kids, holiday parties, and of course, Sunday Service. Open to the public, the Gather Family Church supports Blessed families and families in their community at large. The church is a great way to share true family values and witness to the community.
