A NEW VISION

After many wonderful years down in the Bayou, we’ve decided to move our church into Mobile, Alabama with the heart of reaching more of God’s children. We stand on a beautiful foundation. Originally, our founding members had moved here to start shipbuilding and shrimping companies. As they were blessed in marriage and had families of their own- they saw a need to build a church and a school for their children to grow up in. Many wonderful memories were created there and there was always a strong sense of community. Now those children have grown up and have their own families residing in Mobile.

We want to be where the next generation is. We want to be in Mobile where young families live and we can be a part of something great. We committed to a 3 year lease in our new church, as we sell our previous church building, grow our church and raise funds to eventually build a new church in Mobile. With a new space comes a new vision. Our members have been excited and our volunteerism is growing as we build new ministry teams and prepare for a public launch.

At Gather Family Church, we will focus our ministries on the three great blessings found in Genesis 1:28. We will provide a spiritual home for people to grow in their relationship with God as their Heavenly Parent, build a blessed family and be a part of impacting the world through service. In addition to inspiring Sunday Worship Services, we will offer a gathering space throughout the week. We look forward to dynamic study nights, marriage & parenting seminars, social & family events. Our Children’s Ministry space will be opened to the public during the week offering open play time, storytimes, classes for little ones and birthday parties!

We look forward to going all out, being an active part of our local community and making a difference.

The local church has committed its savings towards this new venture- most of this will be used for rent as well as our initial buildout. On faith, we committed to a large space with room to grow. We need your helping hands to bring our vision to life!
