Witnessing through emailing, newsletter and Blogging!

Around the month of May, I started a new project! Making video presentations about Character Education Material. Why I did come up with such an idea? Since the beginning of 2011 I have difficulties to walk, no balance and difficulties to move the legs. I walk very little and I use often the wheelchair. Still I take care of the community of San Marino, I guide the Sunday Service, not standing but sitting. I do lecturing at the church center and in members home. Many times during the week, members or my family members bring me by car at the blessed members home and I give lectures to their guests. I have all the lecture material on my Ipad and with my video projector that I carry always with me, I can set up easily the equipment to give lectures in any place. In the meantime, I take care of my editorial responsibility of the Four monthly Magazine “Voices of Peace”, a joint project of San Marino and Italy UPF. Printed and electronic version. Then, why making video presentations? In the past, I have organized several Character Education Seminar for School Teacher in San Marino, Rimini and Pesaro, the area I am responsible for. The last one was April 14, 2012, when already was not able to walk, in a Lyceum in Pesaro where 100 participants attended, Teachers and Students. The seminar was a combined effort of different groups working together where as local UPF we are involved.

Through this work and my past work with UPF, I have an emailing list of 120 AFPs and Poets(connected with me with 8 years of Poetry Awards, 2005- 2012) and a emailing list of 50 teachers. Then, my reflection since sometimes has been, how can I keep in contact and educate those people? Finally, I came up with the idea to make a monthly newsletter. In the meantime, I started to think how I could educate those people. One way was through the online magazine “Voices of Peace” but the other way was through the making of Video Presentations. I had to learn how to do it. Fortunately I have a son who could assist me on this process. He found for me the right programs. I had to study them. I can find time. My normal schedule goes from 5pm to 5 am without stopping. My wife brings my dinner at my desk. Normally, I continue to work in bed through my Ipad. I am thanking God every second of my day. I cannot move my

legs but the upper part of my body is working well. That’s important. Another important aspect in thanking God every moment is for my family that is taking care so much of me. When the video are ready, I upload them on Vimeo and put the information on my blog and in the monthly newsletter. I attach an example of the Newsletter.
