Let's Support Kloten's Renovation!

In short: Since 2003, Kloten has been a place where young and old have come from all over the world to experience community and to develop themselves while surrounded by natural calm and beauty. Our visions for the future include increasing capacity, comfort and safety. We wish to create more adequate meeting spaces and facilities out of areas that are not yet in proper use. Along with installing suitable heating we intend to renovate a part of the attic to create space for larger groups, putting windows in for more lighting and raising the floor for a larger gathering space. We also intend to create two more family rooms and another restroom/shower space.
We gratefully welcome any donations to make this a possibility, ensuring that Kloten will continue to be a place where hearts are kindled and community is enjoyed with Heaven in nature. Loft windows are needed
What will the money be used for? German carpenter Siggi has started a major renovating project in October 2019. The first financial challenge is to gather 46000SEK (ca. 4500€) within January 2020 to be able to get through the start phase. Siggi works for only 10€ per hour, and most of his assistants work for free, but Kloten is lacking a great number of tools and machines. In addition, material like doors, loft windows and paint must be bought to renovate the loft (two bedrooms and one gathering hall) and the former barn. Long-term dreams are for example solar panels and a well to make Kloten sustainable.

More about Kloten: When we say “Kloten”, we mean a property in Sweden which was owned in collaboration sponsorship with Family Federation for World Peace Sweden and the Freeland family. Together they have managed Kloten until a few years ago when there was no means for Swedish members to continue to sponsor running costs. The vision for Kloten to still serve as an ideal gathering venue for workshops, weddings and retreats still stands. “Kloten” is also the name for the tiny Swedish village where the property is located. Kloten has an amazing potential. It’s surrounded by untouched nature with forest and lakes. At the same time tourism is present enough to offer for example renting mountain bikes, canoes, a sauna and mini golf.
Furulidsvägen 5, 714 91 Kopparberg, Sverige Kloten can be used for public workshops, a relaxing family holiday or private events like wedding parties. For example, Women’s Federation for World Peace Norway (KFVF) is going to host a public seminar for women and their families in Kloten at Easter 2019. CARP Germany went canoeing in another location in Sweden in September 2019. Next year they could go canoeing in Kloten, if enough money for renovation is gathered.
