Memory of the Million Family March (Million Candy March) on October 16, 2000

My children helped me place stacks of Blessed Candies and FFWPU MFM flags all long the Mall from the Capitol to the Washington Monument.

They called it the Million Candy March.

We drove in a 24-foot truck up and down the dirt paths.

NOI [Nation of Islam] members watched over it all night and Blessed Members stood as Marshall’s distributing them all morning.
