The FFWPU and UPF are widely recognised as being at the forefront of efforts to uphold the value of marriage and family in our society, and it is doing so in certain innovative ways.

We wish to invite you to a special event celebrating marriage and family on Sunday 17th February 2013. One of our key principles is related to the value of the family, families being the corner stone in building a good society, nation and world.

Celebrating the Family and Cosmic Blessing 3.30pm – 7pm, Sunday, 17th February 2012 Haslemere Hall 2A Haslemere Road Thornton Heath, CR7 7BE

This unique event will bring together married couples and widowed individuals from different religious, national and cultural backgrounds for a re-dedication of marriage and celebration of the family. Couples all over the world will take part in what is entitled the Cosmic Blessing in February next year.

Father and Mother Moon have laboured for decades to establish a marriage tradition that is ‘new’ in its level of loyalty, commitment and purity, thereby creating a sense of a new tradition of marriages for both present and future generations. Stable marriages and good families are an essential requirement for the wellbeing of humanity.

This Cosmic Blessing is supported by educational programmes that convey the ‘Principles of Peace’, spiritual and practical principles that find a common ground between people of different faiths (including conscientious people of no particular faith). Please enquire about when presentations will be given. In the words of the founder:

‘Marriage is more than a simple coming together of a man and woman. It is a precious ceremony of commitment to carry on God’s work of creation. Marriage is the path by which a man and woman become as one, create new life, and establish true love’.

This will be a truly auspicious occasion, not only externally but also from a profound, internal perspective. Other features of the programme will include presentations on the family by various faiths, musical performances, a food buffet and more.
