To me, the Africa Renaissance is the shift from dependency to strategic sovereign y- a con nent that rnoves from wa1ting tor solutions to des1gnlng them. It’s an awakening where A ca stops being spoken for and starts setting the tone, pairing indigenous wisdom wi1h modem Innovation to rebuild systems hat are ettic·en , e hical, and unapologetically our own. Th Renaissance is a multitace ed movement for Africa, hlghfighting progress hrough Internal ,nrtlatives rather than relying on external sources.
On the local level, this Rena ssance becomes real when we move ram reacting to problems to a u ll~rd •gnjng systems that preven them. lnstead ot waiting for NGOs or global actors to parachu e in, we stan solv·ng ssues using our own Ideas and our own context. Think about places Ii e Northern Kenya - conflict, drough and resource pressure aren’t •.msolvable tragedies. They’re problems we can ac e with A lean-led innovation, community-driven peacebuild1ng, and technology that actually tits our reali ies. That’s how t e Renaissance starts: by treating our problems as s v.ibl no ri rma ~,,
