News From Korea

In case you did not have a chance to read the entire content of my report from Korea, I want to highlight one point I mentioned at the end. On February 17, a special commencement ceremony has held at Chung Pyung Training Center in which honorary doctorate degrees were conveyed to 48 leaders, including many well-known church elders.

We want to especially congratulate the five leaders from America who were honored with doctorates from Sun Moon University. They are:

Mr. Douglas DM Joo

President Neil Salonen of UB

Rev. Michael Jenkins

Bishop Ki Hoon Kim - Chicago regional director

Rev. Baek Joong Ku - LA regional director

In addition, ten leaders (one from each continent) received special awards. Rev. Mark Hernandez was honored from North America for his outstanding efforts in 2004. Congratulations to our great brother Mark!
