Blessing Qualifications

Qualifications to become a candidate for the Blessings vary according to the category that you fit into. Those categories include:

Single Candidates Previously Married Couple Candidates Blessed Children Candidates

To find out more about the qualifications for you to become a candidate, please connect to the Representative of the Blessing and Family Ministry in your area. That person should also help you find a Matching and Blessing Supporter. The role of a Matching Supporter is to advise, counsel, educate, and, overall, to help you prepare to become a candidate for the Blessing and ultimately part of a truly successful Blessed Central Family!

So ‘the Blessing’ includes a process:

• Matching • Holy Wine Ceremony • Blessing Ceremony • Indemnity Ceremony • 40 Days of ‘Separation’ • 3 Days’ Ceremony

The Blessing Vows:

1. Do you promise to observe Heavenly Law as an original man and woman; and should you fail, do you promise to take the responsibility for doing so?

2. Do you, as an ideal husband and wife, promise to establish a family that will bring joy to God eternally?

3. Do you promise to inherit heavenly tradition and, as the eternal parents of goodness, raise up your children to be examples of this standard before the family and the world?

4. Do you promise to be the centre of love before the society, nation, world and universe based upon the ideal family?

They help us aspire to more than an ordinary marriage!

What does it mean to take responsibility for mistakes? “This is ‘my marriage’, and I will invest together with my spouse.” - ownership 1. recognise your part in the problem 2. apologise, rather than blame 3. trust the good will of the other - believe in their goodness 4. help each other with compassion and courage to do what is right and good and loving 5. be patient and persevering The benefit to you is that you grow your hearl and overcome your fallen nature.

A life of Common Purpose To participate in the Change of Blood Lineage - a spiritual revolution from selfishness to unselfishness

We are called to help True Parents to build God’s Kingdom in practical service to others too

A life of highest and true value; where God is worshiped and honoured above money, position and knowledge and where all people are treasured as God’s children

She is Malaysian Chinese, and he a New Zealand Maori who was a member in the 1970’s and joined again in the 90’s

The two were recommended for each other in 1998. Moi Eng was 39 years old at the time.

Temura wrote: “For Mooi Eng, after some earlier disappointment, to reach a point of accepting a suggested matching is not an easy road. I had not been matched previously, but I did have my own “baggage”, and no guarantees came with me. Our separation course , being a lot shorter than others I know of, had it trials, yet it was those that helped us keep connected. We are very different people , culturally and mentally, and perhaps we will not always agree. But we have grown to hear and respect each other, and even if our children drive us up the wall , they are our treasure. Our hope is that they can follow heavenly life , but I learn there are no guarantees there either. “

Petr and Linda Navratil This couple were recommended for each other and introduced in February 2010, and Blessed in 2010. He is from Czech and she from Albania We decided to go to the Matching, because we believe that it is the best way, to find the right partner, and a partner with high moral values and a sense for a sincere family life. We trusted the BFD, and we really appreciate its efforts, and now we can see how God is really working through the BFD, to choose the best partner for us. Right from the beginning, we made great effort to communicate every day by internet and mobile phone, in order to get to know each other more and more. Within a few days we were able to develop an intimate relationship and we both felt that we are meant for each other. Only one week later we met each other and spent wonderful 3 days together. For us it was enough time, to make the decision, to go to the Blessing. In the past one year, we received the Blessing, had our wedding, started family life, and now we are happily waiting for our first baby, which is on the way.
