Let's witness to and Bless 1/3 of Africa! — Jinil Fleischman

As you probably know, we were missionaries in Africa for many years and worked closely with Kathy Rigney at that time. Recently we have been communicating with Kathy about her current focus in Africa. She and Bakary Camara, the Cheon Eui Won Co-Chairs of Africa are so serious about True Mother’s goal of saving 1/3 of the world. They have been brainstorming and have developed a way to pursue the Blessing of 1/3 of the population of Africa at least conditionally.

They checked the population of Africa as a whole and found that the sum of the populations of Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Benin, Kenya and Zambia is roughly equivalent to 1/3 of the population of Sub-Sahara Africa. Their idea is to make a condition in those 5 countries which will represent reaching out to all of Africa.

Kathy will be responsible for Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Benin, and Bakary will be responsible for Zambia and Kenya. Their strategy is to hold a Mini Summit and Family Festival Blessing in every state in the country, thus being able to touch all corners of the country. They will contact the Governor of each state (there are 36 in Nigeria) and present a plan similar to when Mother visited countries in 2018-19. The plan is to hold these events in each state with the cooperation and active support of the governors.

Years ago, when True Mother visited Africa, Kathy contacted Goodluck Jonathan when he was just a governor - before he became President of Nigeria. He was so moved by True Mother and her love and plans for Africa, that he gave Kathy $70,000 on the spot to support Mother’s visit and event. Kathy is confident that they will be able to meet governors who are favorable and will be willing to provide venues and financing for such events in their state. We already have members in about 15 of the 36 states.

We are very moved by Kathy’s and Bakary’s determination and dedication and we would like to support them in some way. We decided to raise some funds to help support their travel expenses to reach the different states. We’re sure you know about the financial crises our international headquarters is in due to the situation in Japan. Because of this situation, financial aid is quite difficult to push forward on important projects. Any support we can give them will be greatly appreciated!

Note: Attached is a special report which Kathy sent to True Mother following her meeting with Macky Sall, now former President of Senegal, on April 3, 2024 (see photos below). Also included in the report are photos of a very significant event that took place at the African Union, where UPF’s IAPD Association (guided by Prophet Radebe) was able to sign an MOU with the African Union. On May 22nd, the African Union will be holding Africa Spiritual Day which is quite a breakthrough.

Special Report April 3, 2024

It was a beautiful afternoon on the 16th day of January 2018 in the lovely city of Dakar, Senegal where the most historical of moments would occur in this warm African city. Our Heavenly Parent’s Precious Holy and Sacred Only Begotten Daughter would soon be landing at the new Blaise Diagne Airport which Heaven built specially for her arrival.

We accompanied an official Senegalese government delegation including the Minister of Defense to receive our precious True Mother at the brand-new Presidential lounge prepared to receive our Mother. Together with us were Rulers, Kings, Princes and Queens from all over Senegal who had assembled at the airport to greet and honor the True Mother of humanity at this providential moment.

The President of the nation, His Excellency President Macky Sall sent his delegation to receive True Mother as he prepared our Mother’s special car, police escort and protocol officers to facilitate every aspect of Mother’s arrival. The Minister accompanied Mother to her hotel, also prepared for her stay by the President of the nation and finally the moment we had all been waiting for, preparing for and longing for was finally upon us, our True Mother was with us at last!

Mother spent that evening and the next morning of January 17 th, 2018, meeting with leaders who had gathered from all over Africa, receiving first hand reports and giving loving guidance and vision to members who had been yearning to experience this very important day.

Finally, in the late afternoon, our Blessed Mother prepared to meet President Macky Sall at his Presidential Palace at the President’s request as the Head of State wanted to be sure that True Mother was properly taken care of and received.

We arrived at the Palace around 4:30 p.m. and the President was waiting to receive our Mother. Mother was accompanied by her entourage and President Macky Sall was also supported by his protocol officer, Chief of Staff and Government Ministers. After the initial official greeting, President Macky Sall asked True Mother lovely questions to make sure that Mother was comfortable in Senegal, that she was being well taken care of and told her how happy he was that she would bless Senegal with her presence. Our True Mother then asked the President saying “May I speak please”? The President answered, Oh yes, please!

Our Mother then began directly speaking to the President while every word was being translated by our Korean Interpreter who spoke perfect French. True Mother began by speaking of God’s creation beginning with Adam and Eve and continued through all providential history until 40 minutes later, Mother ended by explaining and proclaiming God’s Only Begotten Daughter!

President Macky Sall watched True Mother intensely the entire time she was speaking and at the end of this holy speech given by True Mother, the President said, “Mother, thank you so much for this amazing content. I believe with all my heart that working together for peace can only be achieved when God is at the center and this afternoon, you brought God directly in the middle between you and me and my nation. We shall always work together centering on Heaven!”

True Mother spent the next two days, January 18th and January 19th, accomplishing a victory never before accomplished worldwide as she not only broke through the entire National Level with victory but where our Mother also liberated an entire continent and an entire people through the liberation of Africa on Goree Island, Senegal through her tears, her love and her prayers offered to Heaven!

One week ago, as we were holding educational meetings for UPF in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, we received the news that President Macky Sall, who had just finished his second term as President

of Senegal and who would be leaving office on April 3rd, had sent a letter requesting our True Mother to send UPF to meet him before April 3rd in order to convey his message to Mother.

The next day, co Chairman, Adama Doumbia and I left urgently Cote d’Ivoire for Senegal and we were received upon arrival by President Macky Sall’s office. So many thousands of memories rushed through my mind as I landed once again in Dakar, as we went to the same hotel our True Mother stayed at and as we drove to the Presidential Palace to meet the President. We were so curious to know what President Macky Sall wanted to say and why with only a few days left in his Presidency he wanted to send a message to True Mother.

When we entered his office, the President greeted us – of course, he clearly knows who we are and was happy to see us all again. We sat down with him and the very first words from his mouth were – How is True Mother? Is she well? Is she in Korea? That was the most important thing on his mind. True Mother! He then began to speak and he remembered that conversation between Mother and him and her clear explanation about God’s Providential history. He remembered with such fondness the days of Mother’s journey in Senegal. Finally, he explained that he will be leaving office finally after 12 years as President of Senegal. He then informed us that he has created his own NGO organization for Peace and Dialogue and expressed an earnest desire to work together with our True Mother and the worldwide foundation of Peace that True Mother has constructed. He expressed his deepest gratitude for True Mother’s trust in him. He asked several times “I wonder why True Mother loves me so much” “Please tell her how grateful I am for her love and confidence.”

As we left his office he asked the National Television Station to interview us which was shown not only all over Senegal but to all French speaking nations of Africa. It was such a special meeting and I overwhelmingly felt the providential significance of Macky Sall seeking to connect to Heaven’s Only Begotten Daughter before leaving his official post as the leader of the nation.

I had two interesting experiences connected to this meeting. First of all, before leaving Korea after True Parents Birthday celebration and after True Mother was able to send the Shin Top Gun Missionaries and also after True Mother bequeathed the new Death Valley Holy Salt to our Regional Presidents, I was able to receive from Africa’s Regional President Rev. Jean Pierre Kadima the Death Valley Holy Salt. After having been educated by True Mother in Africa about the importance of finding righteous prepared people, I felt very strongly that I wanted to quickly receive this precious holy salt which our True Mother told us would draw righteous people to us. When we received the information that Macky Sall wanted to meet with us, I felt that our Mother’s Death Valley Holy Salt was surely pulling on the heart of Macky Sall and pushed him to connect with True Mother once again.

Also, two days before meeting Macky Sall in Senegal, I unfortunately fell down a flight of steps in a public area of Abidjan where I injured my knees and back. Therefore, when realizing that we had to rush to Senegal I was worried about how to enter the President’s office if I couldn’t walk – I participated in our Cheon Shim Won prayer vigil in West Africa led by Rev. Steve Sakuwa the night before meeting the President. To my great surprise, when I woke up the next morning and prepared for the Presidential meeting, I was able to walk with almost no pain which made it possible for me to meet the President without any worries.

Actually, the next day I was again unable to walk normally, but I felt that Heaven gave me that grace period of time to enable the meeting with Macky Sall to be held in a manner as dignified as possible.

There were miracles everywhere and we feel so grateful to be alive at this moment in history when our Mother leads the world into the Kingdom of Heaven! Meeting Mother again in Korea was blessing beyond compare. I love you precious, holy Mother, for always and forever!
