CARP USA February Newsletter: Fierce as a Dragon

Fierce as a Dragon On February 10th, we welcomed the Lunar New Year – the Year of the Blue Dragon. This year we will soar high and far, achieving great success with the ambitious and confident spirit of a dragon. Traditionally, dragons bring great fortune, and I believe CARP will be blessed with many achievements in 2024, especially continued expansion of our chapters and development of our student leaders.
Recently, our founder Mother Moon hosted a special “Heavenly Top Gun” training program for young people from all over the world, where they were empowered to be dynamic leaders for God (think of Tom Cruise’s “Maverick” character in the Top Gun movies) and go out to the world sharing a message of truth and the practice of true love, ultimately contributing to the hope of a peaceful world. Several CARP leaders had the opportunity to attend, and came back with greater vision and passion to create an environment in their chapters where young people can experience the love of God. We will also welcome young people from Korea – recent graduates from a special training program at Sun Moon University (founded by Father and Mother Moon) – who are coming as missionaries for one to two years and will support CARP activities in America.
As we approach March, students are in the middle of the semester, tackling upcoming mid-term exams, class projects, and papers. CARP activities are underway with most chapters holding weekly or biweekly CARP Talks (you can find pictures of these on our Instagram page) and vamping up towards retreats, workshops, and other activities in the summer. We are excited to see the amazing experiences and growth that this semester will bring for our CARP members!

They were able to invite many students to join their CARP chapters and invest into their spiritual growth and self-improvement!
