A Surge of Momentum into the New Year As we ring in 2024, the new year presents an opportunity to reflect on our victories and challenges throughout the past year, and to renew our hopes and determinations as we move forward. Looking back, 2023 full of national victories and achievements, from the New Hope Workshop in January, to the New Hope HJ Pilgrimage in Korea and Momentum leadership workshop in the summer. These national initiatives gave CARP students profound and life-changing experiences in their personal development and growth as leaders. We deeply appreciate our numerous donors whose gifts have allowed us to hold such programs.
Meanwhile, we concluded the 2022-2023 school year with a CARP presence on 49 campuses, the most we’ve had in decades, if not ever! While a few chapters struggled with succession as their core student leaders graduated from college (a perennial challenge for student organizations), most chapters have successfully maintained continuity of their activities over several years now. Month after month, they shared a message of hope and love on their campuses and in their communities. We thank the many CARP graduates and supporters who support our student leaders and strengthen this continuity. Since the merger this summer, this support has only grown stronger, and CARP chapters are positioned for even greater growth.
The future looks bright as we look forward to 2024! Recently, CARP leaders came together for the Winter Momentum leadership online conference. They shared their victories from the past semester, and discussed CARP’s vision and goals for the future. Hearing from them, we have plenty of reason to set our hopes high for the new semester and new year.
Here’s to a fantastic 2024!
