CARP USA Newsletter for November 2023: Pure Water Flows toward Peace

2023-11-15 · Source: tparents.org

Pure Water Flows toward Peace “You must clearly recognize your identity. You must know that your responsibility as pure water is to move forward toward the broader world and not be distracted by your surroundings. If pure water becomes stagnant, it eventually becomes contaminated and is discarded. I hope that together [with me] you will go forward in a straight line toward a heavenly unified world.”

– Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, October 8, 2023

These words were spoken recently by Mother Moon, co-founder of CARP, when she met with youth from across the United States in Las Vegas at the Resurgence event. Many CARP leaders were able to attend and hear her inspiring words. She encouraged them to be like pure water that can bring hope and healing to a world filled with darkness and pain. She commissioned them to work towards a “heavenly unified world,” where we can transcend all religious, racial, and cultural barriers and experience peace as One Family Under God.

Many young people don’t know their identity; they don’t realize that as God’s children, they have infinite value and potential. Inspired by Father and Mother Moon’s vision, CARP seeks to awaken that hope in college students in America and across the globe. Our first Core Principle is to “renew our spirituality through seeking truth and relating with God as our Parent.” We are spiritual beings, and our lives can become truly meaningful – and happy – when we understand this truth. We believe that the key to unlocking that dimension of meaning is through receiving God’s parental love.

Students can understand and experience this principle through the many opportunities that CARP provides. In seminars and retreats, students can study spiritual wisdom passed down through the ages that provide insights into God’s nature and the meaning of a good life. And through bonding in the CARP community, they can receive and share unconditional love. I am moved to see lives transformed through the environment created in CARP chapters across the country, such as we saw through the last academic year. We look forward to seeing more!
