CARP USA Newsletter: Summer Brings Change and New Life

2023-06-30 · Source: tparents.org

Summer Brings Change and New Life Summer has arrived! It is a time of joy and excitement, and for embarking on new adventures. Many CARP chapters hosted workshops and retreats that allowed their members to have deep and life- changing experiences. And many students have chances to participate in other opportunities, such as the New Hope HJ Pilgrimage to Korea or the CARP Momentum leadership workshop in August.

Last month, many CARP students commemorated significant milestones with CARP’s co-founder, Mother Moon. She celebrated her 80th birthday and Father Moon’s 103rd birthday, as well as the 63rd anniversary of their marriage. In addition, on May 7th she held the Marriage Blessing ceremony, and also dedicated the Cheon Won Gung (translated as “palace of heaven’s garden”) as a temple where all people of the world can honor God. Upon concluding those victorious events, Mother Moon is encouraging a time for spiritual renewal and growth. In that spirit, this summer is a hopeful time as CARP chapters and students prepare for the upcoming school year.

This summer also brings a season of change to NCARP. In its 43 year history, NCARP has always worked closely with Family Federation (FF), its parent organization. Now, CARP and FF leadership have decided to integrate even more closely. For more information, please read this Letter from the NCARP President. We have great hope as CARP enters a new era in its history!

Thank you for your steadfast support for CARP. Check out the exciting updates below:
