CARP USA April 2023 Newsletter: Courage and Great Dreams

Courage and Great Dreams “Keeping one’s mind and body healthy, strong and pure is a lifelong task, and its importance is greatest during our youth. When we are young, we stand at a crossroads. We have to decide whether to take the road that satisfies selfish desires or the road toward a great dream. As we begin the stage following childhood, we should be beautiful young men and women ready to launch ourselves into the world with the courage that comes from having great dreams.”

Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, co-founder of CARP, in Mother of Peace p. 224

For many, college is the time to discover and pursue great dreams, and to launch oneself into the future. Will those dreams be for selfish gain or to benefit the world? That depends on one’s vision and worldview.

CARP chapters across the country are proudly promoting our Core Principles of God, Family, and Peace, serving as a guiding light and inspiring their campus communities to strive for higher ideals. Through the many Divine Principle retreats and workshops (like those in New York, Dallas, and the Bay Area), students are catching the vision of a united world centered on God. As more youth are empowered through these principles, cultural transformation can take place.

National CARP is looking forward to a special project this summer: a pilgrimage to Korea to understand and connect to the heart of CARP’s founders, Rev. and Mrs. Moon. We especially want to invite students who are newer in their experience with CARP and the Divine Principle. Through this pilgrimage – in addition to the many growing experiences that they are having in their local chapters – we hope to raise youth “with the courage that comes from having great dreams,” who can strive to fulfill God’s dream of a peaceful, ideal world. We invite you to donate to support this great endeavor:
