CARP USA Newsletter March 2023: Bloom Where You Are Planted

Bloom Where You Are Planted “Daffodils are the harbingers of spring. As the first flowers to pierce through the frozen ground after withstanding the cold of winter, they herald the coming of warmth and new life. I am always amazed at this providence displayed by Mother Nature and by the strength of the sprouts that appear where snow still remains… whose humble, unassuming bloom breaks the spell of the cold winter.”
-- Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, co-founder of CARP, in Mother of Peace, p. 131
With the coming of spring, CARP chapters are in full bloom and are thriving on the various campuses and places where they are planted. Many times, the environment that they find themselves in may feel cold and unwelcoming. This is especially true in today’s cultural climate where religious ideas and spiritual values are often devalued, and division and hostility abound.
But just like the daffodils that pierce through the ice of winter, CARP leaders are persevering and bringing light and hope wherever they go. They are bringing the message of the Principle and the love of God throughout America. We are inspired to see new chapters being formed, such as the newly registered CARP clubs at the Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) and at the University of Texas, Arlington (UTA). This is in addition to the more than 25 other campuses with official CARP clubs, plus the numerous developing clubs that are working towards official registration.
We look forward to the day when the work of CARP blossoms on every college and university campus in
America, when all students and young people in America can be inspired to lead a Principled life. We will continue to work towards that vision!
