CARP USA October 2022 Newsletter: Jumping Into Autumn

Jumping Into Autumn Autumn is a season of change. One day is warm and sunny, then the very next day can be brisk and windy. Sometimes in just a matter of weeks, the leaves go from green to red, or gone all together. It’s a transition of Mother Nature, preparing for a new phase. CARP can relate — we’re all about making a change by finding passion in pursuing our purpose, and becoming someone that makes a difference in the world.
Carrying inspiration from the Momentum leadership retreat, CARP students have jumped headfirst into the fall semester. Over 10 campuses had CARP students table in their colleges and universities’ club fairs this semester. For the Chicago chapter, it was their very first time to be involved in one!
Keeping the momentum, many CARP chapters reignited their activities from previous semesters. Chapters and hubs like Dallas, DMV, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and more have restarted their regular CARP talks. Celebrating first-times, CARP Boston launched their Higher Purpose talks this semester! The Bay Area hub had their signature UP seminar in September and also celebrated “Creek to Bay” Day with a service project. From the previous semester, CARP Berkeley brought the conversation of how a unified Korea is relevant to everyday college students in an effort to continue impacting the campus.
