CARP USA August Newsletter: We Are Here for God

2020-08-29 · Source: tparents.org

We Are Here for God “Now we are standing here at the Berlin Wall—grieving, because we all know this is a mistake. This is not a sign of peace or a way of life of civilized human beings…So we CARP members would like to challenge Mr. Gorbachev to be the righteous and responsible man he claims to be. Come on, Mr. Gorbachev, let’s do away with this unrighteous and inhumane wall of injustice!” Hyo Jin Moon On August 8, 1987, then World CARP President, Hyo Jin Moon led a demonstration of 2000 CARP members protesting the Berlin Wall and communism. The Wall represents the divide of people never envisioned by our Heavenly Parent, God, he declared. He continued to explain that the pain and misery brought on by communism is not God’s design, but the love of God can absorb even our enemies.

Today, CARP members are on the front lines once again, carrying on the spirit of Hyo Jin Moon, sharing about God’s love and plan for peace. This was highlighted in the:

2020 HyoJeong Conference

On August 15, CARP America joined forces with CARP Korea and Japan to host the 2020 HyoJeong Conference. Inspired by Father and Mother Moon’s vision for peace through the reunification of North and South Korea, these three countries created a program to talk about the power of youth in moving nations.

The intention was to educate and empower the young people with Mother Moon’s hope and vision for

Korea and how that leads into world peace.

Representatives from each country had opportunities to share about their own growth in their life of faith and their youth activities dedicated to reunification of the Korean peninsula.

“The main point that stood out to me was the fact that we can overcome anything centering on Heavenly Parent’s love. Although we may have nothing to offer, when we determine in our hearts to live for others centering on Heaven, we can move forward and bring reunification.” We recorded the full session in three languages (Korean, Japanese, and English).
