Some thoughts as we approach the third annual Western Ocean Summit

2016-01-14 · Source: tparents.org

The upcoming summit is a good chance to look at the status of our ocean church programs. I like Clint’s advertisement for the summit “what is the ocean providence, and where do I fit in”.

It is important to look at how our church projects interrelate, to create synergy with all education efforts. The big question to examine is how does the oceanic realm relate to the new tribal messiah era, how it can effectively abet the providential purpose?

The Kodiak grassroots program (NOCP) has been an attempt to fill a vacuum in this transitional time – keeping oceanic interaction engaged in the Unification movement, particularly with the second gen. For years, True Parents were the big driver of events here. Now those assets – boats and training center – remain active in a summer ocean training program for second gen. We were taught ocean mastery is an important leg of spiritual development.

This summer will be the NOCP’s eighth edition. Many worked diligently and created a safe “marine feet wetter” program, to quote coordinator Naria McGee. It’s time to examine where the program has been effective, what changes are needed to improve it. We look forward to seeing you all soon in Las Vegas.
