Family Church of NYC Announcement from our Assistant Pastor

Announcement from our Assistant Pastor Dear Brothers and Sisters of the FC NYC, I hope everyone is having an amazing week so far! There are a few announcements that will be shared so please read thoroughly. #1: Have you purchased True Mothers Anthology? Have you read it? Please let us know! We are looking for the families that have. One of our 2020 goals is to embody Mother Moons word by reading the series! Please email Stephanie Dias if you have! It is very important that we have this information. It brings us one step closer to our goal.

#2: *We are still looking for a Sunday School teacher for our Youth!!!* This is an urgent role that must be filled! If we can not find a Sunday School teacher by the end of the month, unfortunately Sunday School for the Youth will have to be cancelled. It is important that our youth get the education that they need in order to grow and succeed!

The curriculum is already set for you to teach! You will be working very closely with our YAYAM Director and will be guided every step of the way. If we get more than one person we could even have a rotation system.

 The first Sunday of the month is our regional service therefore the youth are asked to participate and attend service.  The fourth Sunday of the month our FC NYC YAYAM Director organizes church outreach for our youth.

 The fifth Sunday of the month is Youth Service. All the Youth and Young Adults from our community will be in attendance.

Below are the list of responsibilities.

Sunday School Teacher Role:

 Teach Sunday School twice a month (2nd & 3rd Sunday of the month)  Meet with YAYAM Director once a week (30 minute call) to discuss lesson plan for Sunday School  Report to/Update our YAYAM Director  Help organize Youth Service along with other YAYAM team leaders
