Letter From Your Pastor: a few things coming up

I am thankful and grateful to each and every member of the Manhattan Family Church. Each one of you are very special to my heart.

I am excited to let you know of a few things coming up.

• I am getting ready to introduce to you the fourth person who has come forward to become a member of our church family. He was witnessed to by Masako Aull.

• There is a UPF 20th. Anniversary being held at 43rd. Street from 12 to 2 p.m. If you are an ‘Ambassador for Peace, please come and join in.

• September 27th is our ‘Light Service.’ Please bring a friend. We have very special speakers this month.

• September 27th and October 4th. We will be having a ‘Bake Sale.’ The proceeds will be going towards our guest on October 11th.

• For the month of October, I would like for each and every member to set aside a condition for the church. For Finances, New Members, Spiritual Strength, Family Members, Pastor, anything that would benefit and help the church.

• October 4th. I have a very special announcement to make.

• October 11th. Is a very Special Day because we will be having a Singer, who will be performing and who is also a pastor and now a recording artist, who will be performing for us and giving a sermon. This is a great opportunity to invite friends and relatives. This will also be a day that we will be having our Pot Luck Luncheon.

• November is a special month because it is the month of Thanksgiving. I am making this special day, “Friends and Family Day.” We will be having a Thanksgiving Luncheon on November 22nd. With a special guest speaker. Please be prepared to bring your family and friends for this special day.

• December is also a special month because of Christmas. I am planning on having a Christmas Banquet on December 19th. My brother, Rev. Joel Barnaby, will be the guest speaker and my sister and her family, from Texas, who are Music Directors will perform for the event.
