The Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CCP Central Committee opens next Monday (October 20 to 23). Proceedings will be closed and closely guarded. There is widespread speculation that significant changes will be made at the most senior level of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

As we know, the CCP is perhaps the most powerful political organization in the world with an absolutely horrific history and human rights record. Our speaker, Lei, is an expert on the CCP and host of Lei’s Real Talk. During our meeting, she will provide background on the Plenum and explain possible outcomes. Lei Lei grew up in China and thus has expertise in life under a totalitarian government, as well as in finance and economics. She brings a unique perspective to analyzing and interpreting geopolitics with particular focus on China and Sino-US relations and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Being bilingual gives Lei a distinct advantage in accurately interpreting events in China based on native knowledge and extensive local sources.

Lei came to the United States as a foreign student and graduated cum laude from Wellesley College with a degree in architecture. Her motto: “Wisdom stems from gentle eyes, and courage is born from selflessness.”

Lei livestreams at least two programs every week providing up-to-date information and interpretation on
