We encourage you to register and mark your calendar for this presentation and discussion meeting on human spirituality, co-hosted with HJI Graduate School of Peace and Public Leadership.
The diversity of New Testament Christian theologies are prone to criticism, especially by non-believers, as being individualistic, otherworldly, belligerent to other faith systems and therefore incompatible with creating a world of peace. In the post-Protestant world, contemporary theologies must respond to such critiques to offer formulations that build harmony rather than boundaries.
Theodore Shimmyo, the leading theologian of Unificationism, will offer a simple but scripturally rooted understanding of human spirituality that is responsive to the expectations of imperative of creating a world of peace.
Please join us on October 9 to learn and discuss a contemporary understanding of human spirituality.
Sincerely, James B. Edgerly Director, Higher Purpose Forum
